I woke up for the first day of school early, excited and a little nervous because I wasn’t sure who my teacher would be or who would be in my class.
I arrived at school with great curiosity and quickly went inside to the bulletin board where all the classes are listed and searched for my name. I was a little surprised but very happy that once again I would have THE BIG HAM for my last year at this school. There were a lot of my friends from last year in my class again which was good but at the same time I still missed my other friends a little, the ones that went on to grade seven and had to switch schools. At least I can look forward to seeing a lot of them again next year…hopefully at this junior high that I really want to go to.
The rest of the day went really good THE BIG HAM seemed really happy to see us all again, as lots of us were in her class for grade four. I joined the Lunch Supervisor program this year and it went really well. I got a good class and will be working with a couple of my good friends so it should be fun.
I’m really looking forward to my last year at this school. I think I’m in a really good class with a great teacher and I am going to try super hard to have a great year!

It will suck when all the grade sixers have to move schools.=( I am friends with so many of them. I'll miss them soo much. It's great yo have the same teacher again. The Big HAM is the best teacher ever! ;P :)

I felt the same! I was nervous and excited at the same time. Butterflies floated in my stomach as I entered the doorway. When I found my name on the bulletin board, I was suprised I had THE BIG HAM for my teacher. I never had her before, so I was really excited! :)

I was nerous too because i didn't know anyone. I really like having "The Big HAM" as my teacher. It's really exciting to go to a new school and meet new people. When i walked into the classroom i was really hoping that the teacher would like me. This is an awesome school.

my first day of school was good I was kinda missing the kids that went to grad 7. I also hope the grad 7s are haveing a good time at there new schools. I was kinda happy that i was in grad 6 becouse i was going to be one of the big kids. school has been realy fun so far becouse the BIG HAME was my teacher. i hop other kids in my class like that the BIG HAM is ower teacher this year.

I was like that too but in the morning i would of end up over sleeping if it wasn't for the sound of T.V. My dad put it on the news and it on full blast form me last night. I did not think that BIG HAM would be our teacher. the rest of the day was EPIC! I love first days!

My frist day of school was also good.I was kinda excited for the frist day. I was also happy to get the big ham again.Some of my frieds were in the same clas with me.I was evan more happy that it ended!

The first day of school was great, simple, and fun with THE BIG HAM. Some of the students got suger powder on the first day! T can tell were going to have fun tis year! THE BIG HAM is the best! We should also play dogeball every

Hi touchygiant33, my firs day was sort of like yours, except for the fact that I already knew who my teacher was going to be because me and my sister came in 2 days before to see what room we were going to be in and what teacher we were going to have. So yeah, it was alright.

I agree,I wasn't so sure who was going to be in my class. Actually, I thought I was going to be in my old teacher's class before he was replaced by another teacher. I was so happy to have my old grade 4 teacher again. The only thing I don't like, is that she doesn't like to play dodge ball. The only kind of dodge ball she likes to play is the kind of dodge ball on the Smart Board where you have to answer questions.

But I was really suprised that the Big Ham was our teacher as everybody else. Once I knew that the Big Ham was our teacher I also knew that this will be a good year.

I was so happy to hear that I was going to be a student of THE BIG HAM. But it is sad that it is my last year at the Forest, I am going to miss my old friends and my school. At least in junior high i will have one of my old friends (purple unicorn).
