I never under stood why we couldn’t eat outside at lunch recess ever since grade 2? I bet a lot off other kids wonder why to. What is the difference between first and last recess from lunch recess?
I think it is only because if kids don’t finish their lunch they had to eat in the lunch supervisors room. I think they only want us to go in the lunchroom so the lunch supervisors have company.
But I think they should let us eat at lunch recess. I don’t like eating inside in front of the supervisors because I feel like I’m in trouble.
I am excited to read what other kids think.

I do not agree with this statement. I personally think that we shouldn't be able to eat outside because we already have a half an hour to eat inside. Sometimes if you are eating outside while playing, you can choke and there is a good chance that it could happen, because if you are running, and eating, it can go down your throat, whole.

I agree with you Papa Smurf. It does feel like you are in trouble when you eat inside. If you could eat just a snack instead of your whole lunch, that would make it at least a little bit better.

I agree with you PAPA. I always don't finish my lunch even if I try my hardest to eat my lunch fast. Then I would eat my lunch at lunch recess but can you? NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO you can't. Why with the horrible rule.:( I curse that rule. But on the other hand you will get a exrtreme cramp. But if you have noodles you already wasted 20 mins.

ReplyDeleteBecause it is lunch recess, everyone just ate. So why bring food outside when you just ate???? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!!!
And anyways (this may sound weird) but it isn't safe either! Because if you are running around with a package of cookies or something, you could eat one and choke!! This can happen at ANY recess but... I don't think the teachers want to be giving CPR.
And they don't have lunch supervisors in the classroom to say you're in trouble, they do it to ALSO keep you safe. Because if you also choke on a cookie during lunch (nobody said you would, but still...) they can help you.
My point has been proven! :)

ReplyDeleteThe lunch supervisors don't want us to be eating things after we already have eatin alot at lunch. The lunch supervisors just think that we have eatin everything.
But the reason is that they go make you go sit in a room if you have not eatin all of your lunch. But if you have noodles or something that has to have boiling water or microwave the thing.

I think that we should be aloud to eat outside. If it is soup or the rest of your main part of your lunch you should have to stay inside. I think that the supervisors want you to stay inside so they don't have to worry about you choking. It makes their jobs easier as well by not having to worry about one more thing. I honestly think that they're just lazy.

They made that rule because we need to burn off the fuel that we have from all the sugar that we got from are lunch. And if you do not finish your lunch the reason why is because YOU ARE TALKING TO YOUR FRIENDS. YOU GET HALF AN HOUR TO EAT. why cant you multitask.

Hello Papa Smurf, I've been waiting for your blog, and here's my comment. Any ways, I agree, although this doesn't affect me (because I go home for lunch) I completely agree with you and... wait a minute, this doesn't affect you either, you go home for lunch to... what ever.

I really don't know why they don't want us to not eat at lunch recess, I mean, and Quoting Papa smurf, its like any other recess. Like, if you just had supper, would you have a treat right after that? No! You would wait a while after because your stuffed!
All I'm saying is that, we should be given the privilege to eat outside on lunch recess sometimes if its nice outside.

I agree with papa smurf but I think that the reason we are not allow is because we just finish eating a lunch. I think that we should be able to bring out stuff to eat but I think that we should not be able to bring food outside. we should be able to because it is good for us to eat lots of food. But the reason we should not be able to eat outside is because we leave our garbage everywhere and we just finished eating a good healthey nutrisious lunch. We should be able to eat outside but once again we would leave our garbage everywhere. For everyone who wonders why we can eat outside for first and last recess is because we don't get a half hour to eat.

I for one do ask the same question and I think everyone does too, "why can't we eat at lunch recess". That question wandered though my head so much that I think I finally know the answer. I mean we already had lunch and usually by then were pretty full, I'm I right. Besides, if we just ate a full meal then what is the point of eating a snack if your digesting.
ReplyDeleteAfter you eat and you're still hungry then eat anything else in your lunch if there nothing in you're lunch then pack more food. If there is no food then get vegtables in your lunch, if you don't want to and you're to lazy and you're starving then don't blame anyone else it's your fault that you don't want to eat.

I agree that we should be able to eat outside. Sometimes kids eat all there lunch but they still are a little hungry,so they take the candy they where saving for this afternoon. They get seen with food and get sent inside.

I don't agree with that because eating your snack outside is something usuall but eating snack outside after you hade your lunch is something you should think about.
ReplyDeleteNow if you had a lunch which can't digest fast then if you have a snack outside when your stomach is full you might throw up. Sometimes you might choke and so thats why we are not allowed. Supervisors are not gods to just lay hands on you every time this happens. They can't do this all the time. Thats why you or me OR ANYBODY can't eat on lunch resess.

I agree with you 'Papa Smurf', we should be able to eat outside at lunch recess. There's no point in calling it lunch recess if we can't even eat anything. The only reason they don't let us eat is because they think we will just wait 'till we can go out and then just eat our lunch out there. I don't know about you, but I think that is just a bad idea.

i disagree that we should eat lunch outside after you have eaten your lunch because after you eat your lunch and then your snack that makes your stomach full end also you cannot play as well as you play at morning resess so i say that eating snack at lunch resses is not good

I think we can't eat outside because the lunchroom supervisors don't want us just to take our lunch outside. I think it would be nice to take maybe one or two things outside to eat but than you would be more focused on eating than playing or hanging out with your friends.

I don't agree with PAPA.Well, what happened if it rained,snowed or hailed? That would be bad if that happened. I do also agree with PAPA. What if it was sunny? That would be nice. But then we would try to find the shady parts. So I would not agree with PAPA.
