I think we should have music playing while we work. Maybe something that goes along with something happening that month. If there is nothing going on that month, we would pick a name from the music raffle basket.
We could have another raffle going on along with the S.O.C.K. raffle. “The Music Raffle!” If you got a S.O.C.K. ticket you would also get a music ticket. When you get a music ticket, you would write your name and room number. If you get called, you would go down to the office and they will show you a bunch of music and you pick some. If you don’t pick any music, they would call another person down and so on.
What do you think of that?

The only problem is that right now, we are doing a S.O.C.K raffle, and only about 5 people from our class have been called. So with 2 draws, we get called even less. But maybe having 2 would double our chances... okay, okay. Ssssllllloooowwww down. To much at once.

I think that we should be able to listen to music, but only our own(I-Pod). I am guessing that there wouldn't be any good music either, except for Christmas music. I think that more little kids would get picked as well, so then not so good music.

I think that a music raffle would be weired. Plus what is the point of us doing a raffle when we never get a singal person in our class who wins anything for the sock raffle thatb is going on right now. Another reason I think that we should not do a music raffle is because I hate music.

That's a good idea non the less, but if we can't even win the actual s.o.c.k. raffle, so how do you expect anyone from our class to win. It would be better if it was just for our class, or every individual class did it on their own where we choose what they listen to. If the class is being good, good music, class is bad, Moves like Jagger non stop.

Yes sure I am OK with it but I am also sure someone will have have a problem. I know many people that cannot work with a music going on. I am happy to listen that we can have music raffles but the problem is we should get permission from Queen of the forest and then from the Big Ham AND THAT IS THE HARDEST THING YOU CAN EVER DO!!!! So if we get the permission then I will be sooooo happy and I want to say that i am working on my sock raffles REALLY BADLY.

I have never heard of this music raffle and I can't say that I like it or not but it does sound like a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI would say that I like the idea of having music while working. But it would get distracting if we had music all of the time. Like in D.E.A.R, if we are reading and interested in a book, we wouldn't like having music playing over our heads. The music raffle is a good idea but the music in class isn't.

I also like the the idea of a music raffle. I think It will be nice to hear some music when you do a test. But I will not Lisen to Justin biber. That guy sucks so bad! So if there is a music raffle and of guys win do not choose Justin biber!!! I reapet do not choose him!!!

ReplyDeleteOne thing that would be a bit of a problem is what kind of music? Lots of people like many types of music, so to fix that problem if every class was to take a vote and pick the one with the most votes, than the teachers would have more of an idea!
Other than that, this idea is pure gold! And I think this should be real!

Room 14 is doing very bad in the raffle anyway. If we do have another draw, we might have a betar chance of getting something. Right now I think each kid neads to get 11 tickets each so we win something.

I have to say, hinestly room fourteen has not done so well in the sock raffles. Sure we got a lot of tickets but what are we doing with them. Some may forget to put them in the basket or some uses the tickets for bookmarks or for other things. I also think that they should keep this sock raffles the same to keep this going as well that is my opinion.

I think this is a great idea, I would love to listen to music while I'm working. The music would block out all the other people's talking and so they would work harder than when they could hear people talking to them. So they won't talk if they can't hear them. So I think this is a good idea but that's just what I think.

I think raffle ticket draw thing is horrible. It takes 50 tickets to win a prize and I think the teachers give tickets to certain rooms and you need 50 ticketes to win. If you have 49 tickets, you better get 50 because you will not win and some people in the division one hall will cry, pout, and get really angry. Beware Queen of the forest. Beware...... :(.....beware. Anyways, I think it is not a bright idea. So far I have won a straw.(yeah! great,woohoo) (sarcasm by the way)

I think that would be a good idea but only for a class room because what if one class is having a test. I mean it is a good idea and all but it should be a raffle that the classes have but not on the speaker. So the teacher can choose when it is a good time. I am exited to read what the other kids say.
