I don’t really know if some you guys or girls whatever you prefer um really like being the blog poster because you have to miss recess’s and all that until it’s done. Anyways I really don’t like it because I don’t find it any fun so I thought I should tell you and you guys would probably comment on what you think of being the blog poster. I guess it would be fun to be the blog poster at times when you really want to but I was hoping Small Iahk wouldn’t of picked me when you have to pick some one’s name in the cup without looking.
There’s one thing I like though which is seeing what other people wrote for their blog post they wrote like what we should do for the field trip or something and that one about zombies baaha that was a little weird I think but not really because zombies are awesome.
The reason I’m talking about “Being the Blog Poster” is because I didn’t really have a clue about what I was going to write about so once my friend, Willy Wonka asked me I just thought if it right away so then I told him about it and why I was going to talk about it.
So about now I should be hitting the old dusty road so there’s this one last question - um what do think of being the next blog poster D:?

BLOGGER OF THE WEEK
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteJust so everyone is clear, you are not required to stay in for recesses to complete your blog post UNLESS you did not submit it on time. Bloggers are given ONE ENTIRE WEEK to write a post so waiting until the last minute is not necessarily your best strategy. For the record, you were able to type this post in 15 minutes (I timed you :-)).
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I agree that one of the best things about blogging is reading other people's opinions on certain topics. It's interesting and eye-opening to hear different perspectives, usually ones we haven't thought of. I also like the idea of inviting others to join in the discussion.
Lastly, students should remember that being picked "Blogger of the Week" shouldn't be considered a punishment. Basically, it's your point of view on a topic of your choice. If I asked you to speak for five minutes about the same topic, most students would have no problem. Therefore, consider "Blogger of the Week" a conversation on paper. Every student who has contributed to Forest 14 has improved on his/her writing throughout the last 8.5 months.
Keep up the great work, bloggers!

DeleteI am enjoying your blog posts, Forest 14. It allows me to get to know you a bit more. I appreciate your interesting perspectives on various topics, and I get to see a whole other side of you when you write.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
I like being blogger. In fact I'm blogger of this week. I have like five blog posts up and ready to go. I don't know what the big deal is about having to be blogger.
ReplyDelete" I like it when I have to respond to what other people wrote for their blog post because then I get to respond to there blog post, I also get to give an opinion.
the one the only Mr.Yogi Bear
I kinda like being the blogger of the week. Because than I can put my ideas on the page. I think that next time I am going to write about "Endangered Animals". That's only because I love animals. And just for your information THAT'S MY IDEA, so don't take it. I also like it because it can be fun. But that's my idea. So see ya

Honestly being the "blog poster" isn't that bad if you just get it done at home.
ReplyDeleteWhen I did my blog post I did mine all in one day and I didn't have to miss a single recess.
Blog posts are actually really easy if you're dedicated to you're
work.
For my blog posts I think of what I like and what I hate about school.
I don't mind doing blog posts but I would still rather be doing a million different things like riding my bike or messing around with my friends outside.
-kpuey
Good job!
ReplyDeleteI like being blogger of the week, even though I was only picked once. But it doesn't matter if I was only picked once, MY BLOG POST ROCKED!
But, yeah. Blogger of the week is fun. You get to wright about ANYTHING you want, making it a lot easier to come up with ideas. It is also fun to see what other people wright about. And most of the time, they're really fun to read too.
My point has been proven! ;D
**Purple Unicorn**
OKAY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you don't have to stay in for recess until you get the blog done. If you don't finish it within the WEEK you get THEN you have to stay inside until you get it done. Also, is it really THAT bad to stay in for about one to two recesses out of all the recesses you get?
About the question you asked.Personally, I don't really LOVE being blogger of the week. But, I don't really hate it. It really does depend because if you have no inspiration for a blog then you have a problem. But if you have a really great idea for a blog, blogging can be really fun.
Good idea for this post!
Rainbow Cotton Candy
Sincerely, It matters if there is something going on. Like, when I was chosen to be blogger of the week, I had no clue what I was going to write about. But I was lucky, and KONEY 2012 was going on, so I wrote about that.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time though, There IS something in the world going on that is important, and there-for, you have a blog post. Again though, most of the time I love it!
~Purple Bunny ;p
My opinion is that I love to type my blog post, it was so much fun and it is so easy. To do one you just need a topic a one word topic and you can type pages and pages with that one word topic. Some of the other students might not like it because they have to take of time off of your own time like at recess of at home. Well let me tell you this is that write a blog post is an absolute previldge to do one, it is beleive it or not, well to me it is. But I love to do blog post there that is all.
ReplyDeleteI mean many people have been able to do this in one day if everyone treid really hard they could type a blog post in have an hour. If it was really long for example 1050, then if I were them I would take it home. It is like what I heard in grade three or four, now some of you might not remeber or diagree with me, do your work and have fun later.
Who is this?????????????
DeleteYa I know, I hate being a blog poster because like what you said you have to skip reccess and sometimes lunches when its really needs to get done.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that you think no one likes to be a blog poster maybe few people liked it but the rest of us doesn't. But the good thing about it is when you post something you don't to comment on it because its your own blog post, you can play games while your waiting for the people that is posting.
Jhepoy_08
Blog posts are some what fun to do.
ReplyDeleteSometimes blog posts can be fun to do. But only if you know what to write about right off the bat. Other times, it isn't fun because if you can't think about what to write right away because people tend to forget to do it because they didn't have an idea an just leave it to the last minute. When I did my blog post,(near the beginning of the year)I couldn't think of anything to write about and left it until the last day and handed it in on the due date.
Somewhat in a way, I think that not every body should have to write a blog post because those people that are too lazy or are just not good writers don't. I think that only the good writers should have too or anyone that wants to volunteer to do it for the year and then all that we have to do is comment.
~WILLY WONKA~
I like being blogger of the week. My post about the zombies was totally the best. I love to read other peoples posts and comments.
ReplyDeleteWhen you post and get alot of good jobs and congratulations it makes you feel a sense of accomplishment. Why we started this I do not know. You do not need to stay in but you can if you want to.
Diddley squat
no it was not
Deletei try to comment but it closed on me. >.<
ReplyDeletei say it is a nice post.
the wasd is the arrows
i will edit later
"Diddley squat did well but i do better."
Being the "blog poster" is not that bad. And you don't haft to stay in to do it. All you do is just take a bit of time out of each day and wright a bit at a time. Really, out of all the things we haft to do in class blogging would be number three best[# 2 would be science experiments and one would be gym][The top three worst by the way are #1 math #2 social and number three is R.A.C The only thing that sucks about it is when you don't have anything to blog about.
ReplyDeleteIf i was to be the the next blogger I would freak. I have no idea what I could do. give me suggestions if you want. I probably won't check them.
~falcon
I don't think that being the blogger of the week is that bad, but I don't like the how I have to spend like half of one hour doing the blog post.....so I could just say I don't like writing that much!! Some times I like writing like when I was in grade 3 I loved on my computer! Well maybe because that I just learned how to use a computer!! And you probably think that pathetic But here's the reason why... I never get to use a computer in China because my sister always hogging it!!
ReplyDelete-boodasnip
Do you know that when you blog about being a blogger, that your blog is showing that you are a god blogger. Cool right. Well I like being the blogger of the the week but not the extra blogger because nobody has the time for that especially the grade 6 because they have their P.A.T. Time is really precious.
ReplyDeleteI like commenting on blogs only when they are appropriate for the kids. Comments are really good to express our own opinion. I like writing in two paragraph because you can't just be like 'hi.sup?' and that is not a comment or an opinion. Many students do that and get caught by the big ham so don't get caught.
-pinkGIANT
I was the one who did SMART Board Seizures and Minecraft and truly, those were the only blog posts I've ever made.
ReplyDeleteThis is the reason why I HATE being blogger of the week in my opinion:
1. It takes a long time
So I'm hoping to go to Mill-woods Rec Center next year.
Spottedpaw over and out.
~spottedpaw
I also love being a blogger of the week. I love how you can chiose the topics. I love how you can write all you can write! I love being a BLOGGER! YEAH! I am the one who posted about the New Hundred Doller Bills and Walking in a Line Down the Hall.
ReplyDeleteBlogger of the week is a privilege and a amazing one too. A lot of students like being the blogger, on the other hand, the other students hate being one.
We have exactly one week to do it and most people forget and have to stay in. I do it on the first day. Well not exactly. I first think about the topic then work on the writing the folling day.
-poogibear^^
Your blog post I notest had a lot of things that didn’t make sense like zombie bahaha and all those things.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got picked for the blog post I was like okay, I’m going to fail! ): I HATE it when I have to be the blogger of the week. I had to spend ONE HOUR writing my blog post about motivation when it comes to homework. And on that day I had to go somewhere so I had to hold off on that thing that I had to do! And I also couldn’t think of anything to write about.
But in the end, I made a blog post about the same size as this comment!
-zombie
I like being blog poster because you can write about stuff you like or you don’t like. For example lets say I don’t like ground hogs and I say a bunch of stuff like they are soo cute but they eat your dogs when you are asleep or something like that. Or you could say ground hogs are amazing they love to run on rainbows and eat gummy bears. So when you put that kind of stuff on your blog post people reply. They can reply something like MY dog was eaten by a ground hog. But of course you would have to right a lot more. Or they could say I LOVE ground hog they are sooooooo cute and they eat rhinos and I hate Rhinos because one eat my uncle. Something like that I love reading other peoples comments and I am excited for people to ream mine and that’s why I like blog posting.
ReplyDelete-PAPA SMURF
This comment made me laugh out loud. Your post is the epitome of why blogging is so fun; you literally can write about almost anything you want and watch people's reactions and opinions to your post.
DeleteEven though Fearless Monkey complained that he didn't like being chosen as Blogger of the Week, he ended up writing an entire blog post about it. It's as simple as that.
~The BIG HAM
