Marty Chan came to our school to help us
write suspense stories for a week. On
the first day I was shy but after awhile it got better. I wrote three pages and I’m sure that my
class mates had more or less. He taught
us games and tips on how to write a story. It so fun I wish he could come back again.
My favourite part about Marty Chan was
when he played the Lying Game. It was
where you write down four statements about yourself. Three have to be true and one is a lie. The goal is to try and trick the other person
into picking the lie. One of the
strategies to make them believe the lie is to make it sound really true.

I told him that I would let him know when your stories are finished, so he could come and hear some of them.
