Snowboarding is really fun. I usually go to the mountains. The mountains I go to are usually ether Sunshine Villige or Marmot Basin. That is really all the mountains I have been to but this year we are going on totally different mountains. And do you know what sucks about going to the mountains is that they are all so far away and it takes at least three hours to get there. Witch kind of makes me not want go to the mountains. But on the other hand going to the mountains is super fun.
Usually when I am not going to the mountains I just snowboard at the Edmonton ski club. I like snowboarding, but skiing is fun too. The name of my board is the vandal. And the brand is K2.
So I guess that we are going to Snow valley. I am pretty excited for that. Most of my family skis but me and my dad snowboard. The skill on my snowboard that I am learning right now is toe terns. And they are hard

And the other day at the Edmonton ski club I was going down the steepest hill there. At the end they don't really shovel the bottom of the hill. So I spun out and started going in circles. But then I leaned forward and stop'ed right away. It was pretty awesome

The bad part about the Edmonton ski club is that they have a T-bar and a toe rope. And of coarse The toe rope is super slow. But the T-bar hill is awesome except for that the T-bar is hard. Like I mean going up the T-bar. And that it always makes you go side ways.

I don't really like snowboarding its so frustrating because when you fall on a snowboard, its hard to get up. I'm more use to skiing. but still I don't like skiing or snowboarding I always fall.
ReplyDeleteBut I like sled's big ones that you don't hurt yourself on. In Yellowknife there was this huge rock hill, when it snows on the hill. Then its fun to ride. And the hill is called rabbit hill.
In Snow Valley I don't want to go this year of school because its going to be boring every time I fall. Still I'm kind of use to skiing but it will will still be boring.

I love to go skiing on the slopes of snow valley,because you can feel the air brushing your face. What sucks is the school only goes once a year.
ReplyDeleteThe only time I get to ski is when we get to go to snow valley and that really sucks, because you work the whole day that one time to get the hang of it and then by the time next year comes you completely forget how to.I like skis more, because it is easy to balance and steer.
I am really looking forward to going to snow valley to ski again so I can feel the breeze on my face and get the skill to do the old routen. to have the ability to ski.

I only went skiing one time. When I did I wiped out so much. I want to learn how to snow board because I know how to ski a little bit.I think I would really like to snow board because it looks really fun, its faster and its easier to steer.

and it was so fun there. I saw levels and there were little kid hills there were also crazy jumps.

I can't wait for the trip to Snow Valley. I wonder what it would be like. I wonder if it will be fun,scary,lame or boring.

I never went skiing/snowboarding because I am not a very sporty person. Also because I don't like getting hurt. Plus I am afraid of heights like a MOUNTAIN! I don't play ANY sports at all.

I have never gone skiing. I don't know where to go because I have never gone skiing before. I am looking forward to the ski trip at Snow Vally but I am afraid I will get serverly INJURED. This is a dangerous sport even when grownups say it is safe. Grownups always tell us to play safe and then this spot comes into the world.

I only ski not snowboarding. I like skiing because it seams so easy. I also don't like snowboarding because I've seen a lot of people fall. I don't want to be one of those people. You could end up in the hospital.

I am very excited to go to snow valley. My favourite hill is the one with the chair lift. My least favourite hill is the hill that you have to clime your self. I think it is to much work.

ReplyDeleteWhen I do go skiing I go to snow valley. I go on the second largest hill I can go on. I like to go on the second biggest hill there so I dont fall and fail as much and its the best hill in my opinion.
