I used to live in Yellowknife. It was a great place until I went to Edmonton. Anyway, Yellowknife is in the Northwest Territories. It takes two days to drive to Yellowknife from Edmonton. My dad sometimes goes to Edmonton and picks me up. Then he drives me in this big truck he owns. He lives in a place not too far from Yellowknife, it's called Dettah. He lives in a small blue house. A lot of natives live in Dettah. I have a lot of my friends there. My brother, stepmom, stepbrother, and my half sister live there.
My dad took me to Yellowknife this Christmas. I stayed there for two weeks (for the holidays). I had my Christmas dinner at my auntie's place. She has a huge house and the Christmas tree could touch the roof in my auntie's place.
For dinner we had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots with butter, cranberry sauce, tomatoes and a lot of pumpkin pie. A lot of my relatives came that day and my brothers and I had a big Nerf war. It hurt a lot because one of my brothers shot me in both of my eyes! I got a lot of presents like an iPod Touch, Lego sets, a DJ set for my iPod, one poster and books.

I have been to many places in Canada, but I haven't been to the Northwest Territorries. I think my favourite place to visit in Canada has been Cape Breton Island, in Nova Scotia. The rugged cliffs, the huge pine trees, the smell of salt water, and the beautiful houses are all things I would like to experience again.

ReplyDeleteBut I have been to a place called Thunder Lake and it is so awesome,because there is so much space and it is so quiet and peaceful out there.
I would really like to the Galapagos Islands and I bet that it will have someone playing the steel drums and someone playing the flute. The only way I would want to leave Alberta is if there is no needle involved and that is a SAFE province/country.

ReplyDeleteI have been to Banff Canada. When I go there I usually go skiing. My favourite place to is Norquay. Banff is pretty big but it mosley has shops and restrants. My favourite place to eat is Luna Blue.
I would really like to go to Ukraine because I like the food. My favourite food there is the perogs. I only like the cabbage ones. I also like the cheddar kind that's the only kind I like.

ReplyDeleteI have been to California, Kamloops, Kelowna, Australia, Leduc and Calgary. My favourite place I've been is California because I got to go to Disney land there and my great grandma goes there during winter. When I went to California I stayed at my grandmas house in palm springs.
I would like to go to Kelowna to visit my papa and go on his boat in the summer. I would also like to go there in the summer so I could go swimming. Last time I went to Kelowna I camped out on my papas house boat.

I would like to go to Hawaii so I can surf and relax and and have nice weather.

ReplyDeleteThe only place far away that I have been is my cabin. My cabin is near pigeon Lake. In the back yard we have tiny stone slabs leading to a fire pit. There is also a picknick table. The back yard is a forest for a while than a cliff thing but a bit smaller. In the summer at the cabin I will go to the beach and the name of one is Wizard Lake. You can see Pigeon Lake from there. There are hungarrians that live near my cabin. I love all the trees and I like exploring the old bridge and church! If I could go anywhere it would be California because I coould see my mom's friend michil again.

I have never been to the Yellow knife but my uncle lives there,well technically he used to live there. First he lived in Surewood park then Edmonton then Yellow knife and then Edmonton and then Pince goerge.

ReplyDeleteI've been to Calgary to see the Calgary zoo. It was so cool to see all the animal's It's so much better than the Edmonton valley zoo. There are more animal's and more gift shop's. I've also been to Vancouver and seen the Vancouver Aquaeram. I saw blouga whalles and seals.
I'd like to go to Hawaii because I think it would be fun and I like to swim.

I have not been to Yellowknife or Northwest Territories. And I would not like to because I like living in Edmonton better. Another reason I would not like to live in Northwest Territories or Yellowknife is I would not be able to see any of my friends ever again:[. Plus I would have to get used to a new scenery and I just like the same scenery.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Banff when I was only two. I don't remember much but at least I remember something:|. The first thing I remember is that we went on gondolas it was when I was only two so I had a baby bottle[its pretty obvious]. We went shopping in a MLG mall it was heaven for kids[not really it was all baby stuff].
I would like to go to England because it is nice[sometimes]. And there is a bunch of BRITS! Plus I could see a British police car and normal car. Plus maybe they have better foods than in Edmonton!

When I went to B.C. I was camping with my grandma and grandpa. I went to Nova Scotia twice the first time when I was five months and the second time in the summer of 2012. Did you know I was baptised in Clare in the biggest wooden church in North America?
