In our Health unit we have talked about being healthy and body images. It actually doesn’t matter what others think about you. It only matters what you think about your self. Boys don’t really think about what they look like or
what they wear. Well some of them do but it doesn’t matter that much.
I care what I wear and what I look like. And all of the girls do. The people
on the magasins are pretty because the photographs are made using photoshop.
We have been talking about smoking. I think that if some one
offered me a cigarette I would say no if you want to be my friend don’t
ever ask me that again got that. Or I don’t want to have yellow teeth. If you do I am fine with that.

ReplyDeleteI think that you are a bit too harsh in your judgment of boys. I know many boys, including the ones in your class, that take a lot of care in how they dress and look. I'm not sure why you think it doesn't matter that much to boys.
I think most of your classmates care about their appearance.
I am glad that you have set responses ready to go if someone offers you a cigarette. You are doing wonders for your health.

I don't care what I wear because I don't need to look good. Boys also do care about how they look just not all of them some boys wear tuxitos every wear some wear jogging pants and shirts with holes in them.
ReplyDeleteSmoking is so annoying especially when you are right next to two people that are smoking right beside you. I don't think I'm going to smoke when I grow up because I have two parents that are very strict when it comes to smoking.
What I want to talk about a circle time is fun and sports.I want to talk about sports because I like sports, I want it to be fun because its fun talking about fun.
If I had to pick my favourite thing to talk about in circle it would be spiders so I could get back at the girls for thinking boys don't care about what they look like.

I find your statement of boy's offensive because I bathe every two days and change my cloths every one to two days and I care about the way I smell and how clean I am. But some kids do have to bathe more often.

I don't care about what other people think about me and my body. I do really care about my appearance but not what other people think. I think that the girls in the magazines really need to eat a hamburger.

ReplyDeleteIf a guy goes up to me and says hey do you want a smoke I will SCREEM like CRAZY. Then I will say no I do not want to get yellow nails or I will smack you. So do not go up to me again.

I have been to the Waste Management Centre and it smells so bad that I don't want to even breath.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of the Waste Management Centre is the Eco Station, because they have this cool machine that swings this big chain that smashes the digital chips and these people dissect
the chips and they take out all the gold, silver, copper and zinc.
The best thing that I like about the Eco station is that it doesn't smell.
I don't really care how I look. I don't care what I like. I don't care what I were or even if I don't take a shower. It only matters if you have a life. I don't. I am just a guy that asks for money on the streets. Because that's normal I think. Only girls care about that stuff because they are weird.

ReplyDeleteI don't care if anyone I know smokes because they never stop. My Mom tried to stop smoking before I was born she did stop.
I agree with you because boys only care about if they are going on a date or something fancy. I don't care about how I look I pull anything out of my dresser and stick with it.

I sometimes care about my body image but I think I worry too much about my clothes. My big sister worry's too much about her body image and her clothes because she's a dancer.

ReplyDeleteMy sister says I look like an idiot and a hobo and you will be the ugliest person alive.(That offends me :[).
I think I look nice. And I don't look like a hobo jade|:[. But I do not think that and my sister is inappropriately wrong.
I don't want to smoke. Everybody wants to but they will die a very horrible death. I think my sister wants to because she says she is way more cooler than me(not true). I don't want to smoke because I don't want to be Chewbacca. Just like jade is because she is very hairy.
What I want to talk about in circle is what you eat on a daily basis. because some people like my brother Tyler he eats about 9 hot dogs a day. Are parents say"EAT YOUR VEGGIES" that does not go for me I sit in my basement eating pizza and watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I really need a diet before I am 200 lbs. It would suck being called Fat Albert.

I think that personally I agree but not all boys don't care how they look like my grandpa he always has his hair colored every month. But I still think you were a bit to hard on the boys even if they are sometimes annoying.
ReplyDeleteMy mom smokes so does my uncle kent and on Valentines Day my grandpa quit. I do not want to ever smoke. If someone asked me this is what I would say "sorry I would not try that thing because I rather be in prison or be a pig".
In circle I would like to talk about dogs, cats and ginnypigs.

I do really care about my body image. In general girls care a lot about there apperence. I have met a few boys that care about there appereance. But I think that the people in the magazine think way too much about the way they look. I think it does not matter how other people think of me, it only matters how I feel.
ReplyDeleteI think that smoking is disgusting. I bet that people say they don't want to smoke,but really they do. If some one asked me to smoke I would say no and walk away. If they were a true fried they would be happy with my decision.
In circle I would want to talk about healthy eating. We would have a lot to talk about. We could say what is healthy and what is not. I think it would be a good thing to talk about. So kids would know what is healthy and what is not.

I am a little offended because I am going to start taking care of my hair constantly. It will be like this for a while because it is my cousin Logans style of hair. It will become my original style of hair. If it grows to long Logan said he will take me to his barber guy because My hair is not the exact same as his.

I do care about my body image. But it does not bother me when talking about it unlike some others. But I don't listen to anything about body image unless its from my parents because when it comes down I know my parents will tell me.

I am glad to see so many of you say they will never smoke. Smoking damages your body, and gives you a negative image.
ReplyDeleteI think that Circle is a great place to talk about drugs, weed, and other things like that. (They are also things that damage your body and sends out a negative message to other people.)
Body image is very important. How you see yourself affects all areas of your life, especially as you grow into an adult. If you like yourself then you will be more confident and more successful in life.
No one wants to be around someone who has dirty hair or clothes or smells bad. Being clean is important to your success in life too! It shows that you care about yourself, and that helps others to care about you too.
