Germany is a country in the middle of Europe. My dad says that Germany has 3 times more people than Canada. Germany is half the size of Alberta.
l was born in Germany in the city of Gütersloh on October 21, 2003. We lived in the town of Harsewinkel that's about 300 km east of Cologne. My brother and sister are also born in Germany. Our family came to Canada in 2008 when l was 5 years old.
l went to kindergarten in Germany and started grade 1 in Canada.
Have you ever been to Germany or Europe?

River Monsters
I really like the show called River Monsters. Although there have been a lot of blog posts involving T.V but I think that this will be the last one and I shall be the one to end it.
River Monsters (for the rest of the blog I will call it RM for short) is a show that is rated PG-13 because of all the blood guts and gore from the fish attacks. It is a very violent/intense show for a Discovery Channel show. Lots of mystery appears in lots of episodes for some reason.
Me and skate4life watched an episode of RM recently ware Jeremy Wyde (the old man guy) goes to the Amazon Jungle and tries to find the Anjumara A.K.A wolf fish A.K.A the deadliest fish in South America. It is the most intense episode( because it is the season finale) where people are struck by lightning, dogs are ripped apart by fish, Wolf Fish attacks on primates birds and humans, lost in the amazon and many more intense stuff.
The other episode that really appeals to me is called “Flesh Ripper” where a bunch of Longfin Eels attack scobodivers. There is not much blood in this episode so I don’t know why I think its cool, maybe it just awesome. I do not know why they call it flesh ripper because there is barely any blood.
Another episode that was worth watching is chainsaw predator the only reason that isn't first is because of the high blood level. I swear that episode is extremely graphic and ridiculously gory clips of attacks. The chainsaw predator is a fish that has a nose that looks like a chainsaw. It even shows killings (and not by fish or animals) (well humans are animals BUT YOU GET THE POINT!!!!!!!!) and I find it disturbing and gross.
I have seen this one episode of River Monsters where the old guy goes to Japan to find the legendary Caper that snatches children to the deep parts of the lake. The Caper turned out to be a Giant Salamander.
This will probably be the last post of the year for me so that means all those hours I spent making blog posts were well spent. \This next part is by PIG1:) I love River monsters IT IS AWESOME. I watch it with my dad. I like it because of the blood and gore. My favourite episode is when he tries to hunt a stingray because some little girl gets pulled under water to her watery death:(. It was awesome) The old guy who fishes is ugly (And weird) :) One time he fishes with his feet in the water.
I like River Monsters. Would you like it? Have you seen it? Would you like to?

The Festivals That Happen in Edmonton in the Summer
There are many festivals and parades in Edmonton in the summer. They are all for many different reasons like celebrating culture or an achievement or just enjoying music. I have been to all of them , and mostly enjoyed them all. Like in the summer if you register for the YMCA day camps they take you to The Street performers, a parade downtown in July and they take you to other ones. One time I was with my mom and brother and we went to the parade for about 2 hours, it was awesome! Then another time me my mom and brother went to capital-x (aka K-days) and I wanted to play a game and she said after, and so I waited and then as soon as I got to the game it started to pour. Like, really heavily. And so they had to shut the whole fair down and everyone had to leave. All the parades , festivals, carnivals and fairs in Edmonton I’ve been to are: The fringe, capital-ex, The Street Performers, Heritage days, The Caribbean and Gay pride. Basically I’ve been to all of them.
My favorite festivals are either Capital-ex or Heritage days, They are really awesome! Heritage days is where, in Hawreluk park in the middle of summer these people come and set up booths and sell food from their own culture. There is also items being sold and dancers dancing cultural dances . Last year when I went I ate so much, but my favorite food was the Ukrainian perogies and the Italian ice cream that I had. Yum! My favorite part of Heritage days, is the eating.
Capital-ex is technically an amusement park. It comes in July for eight days in the downtown coliseum. It is HUGE! I have been to K-days almost every year of my life that it has been in Edmonton except for last year, only my brother went then. My favorite part is probably the rides. The rides they have are better than the galaxy land rides! Heritage days and Capital-ex are so awesome!
There are so many people that come to these festivals from all over just like people come to shop at WEM. Usually there is so many people that you could probably get lost in the crowd! There is also a festival called Gay Pride and it has been around for a few years and it is to celebrate people being able to marry the same gender.
I love all the festivals that happen in Edmonton.
