There are lots of cool emoticons that you can use by pressing certain keys. I am not talking about emoji apps such as ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ๐๐ด๐ธ๐จ (although they are cool). I mean emoji that is dots and lines and letters (if you know what I mean). I will show you a whole bunch of emotions that I know.

I think emoticons are funny and express feelings though I don't think they are ok to use in serious writing because most emoticons are not serious.

I think that if you use emoji it lets your text friend know that you are not being serious. I also think it is a way for you to have fun with the other person.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that you should even use emoji while you texting about a serious conversation otherwise the person you're texting will sign off and then they will never want to text about serious things because they will think that you are acting immature.

I think that this emotions are very cool. Some people hate it. But when I text my friend it is very fun. But sometimes I hate it but sometimes I don't. I wish they can work on everything but they can't.

I think that writing in emoticons is cool especially in texting. I like writing in emoticons is cool because you can show emotions like crying, being happy and being speechless.

The emoticons I would make are :{} the wierd cat, :-] weird guy, :$ money mouth and :|- awkward goyte guy. I would make these because it would be funny in texting to get the persons response.

ReplyDeleteI think it's not proper to use it serious writing. If you write a letter for a job and you put a smiley face the person you're writing to will think you're not serious.
I have never used emoticons in my life and I don't think I will but I use them in texting.

I think using emoticons is ok in writing is sometimes is ok. It is ok because sometimes it shows your emotions. It also makes you happy when youลe sad. I think theyลe cool.

I have never used emoticons. I really want to use them. My favourite one is the the guy with the the tougne sticking out. I like how the tougne is so long. It looks really funny.

I have never used emoticons, because I didn't know they existed. But I have heard Ms.Mah tell people to stop using them. I don't think I will ever use them.

ReplyDeleteAngryman4-two and others, you're right. Emoticons do not belong in serious writing (like schoolwork or formal letters, that kind of thing). But they help make sense when you're writing casually (like some emails, texts, instant messages).
One of my friends suggested that we need a 'roll-your-eyes' emoji. I don't know what that would look like. Do you have any ideas on how to make this emoji?
