I think birthdays are too short. I think everyone should have a birthday week. That way there would be one week of presents too. This would make me happier and also everyone else in the world. If the world is happier there would be less fighting. More people will have more time to plan a party. They will also have more time to decorate and clean the house and bedrooms, arrange the beds and decide where everybody is sleeping. It will help decide who is not going and who is going to the party. We will have a longer time to stay and sleep in the house and have more fun too. They could play more birthday games with friends and have more cakes and ice cream to eat. It will be the funnest time of your life and you would remember it forever.

I think birthdays are too long because they are so awesome and I can get more presents.

I would call it birth-month.
The best birthday I ever had was when I went to this bouncy house. It had a big slide in it and we had pizza and pop and almost everything you would need. After they deflated the bouncy house with me and someone else in it!!!
So that would be awesome if it was two months!

I think that my birthday should not change at all, because I like it the way it is. And my mom always takes me out for dinner. On my 9 th birthday right there my Aunty Bev got me tickets to see Katy Parry. I was soooooo exited and it was really good.
ReplyDeleteNow on a different subject I don't think that birthdays aren't too short at all. I think that one day is enuf you still get presents and everything and know that you are still special in every way.
Now my favourite birthday party would probally be my 9th birthday. It was a spy party it was soooooo fun my mom atually hid all the food for us to find in order to eat it it was awesome. And if you know my brother Riley we had to find him and at the end he went to India and during the party Riley was at his friend Rajat and he is Indian. What a cuinceandence right?

Personally, I agree with darkbazooka06. birthdays are fun true, but you wake up next morning with no HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! in your face. It's kind of depressing. I can't see why people would say no to this post. darkbazooka06 is right, so I'll support him.

My best birthday was my 7th or 8th. It's theme was Star Wars, and we did a ton of stuff. At one point, we went to the park, where we had to find tin foil balls with gummy worms, like when then Mellenium Falcon almost get's eaten by a giant worm inside an asteroid. We made lightsabers out of pool noodles and different colour duct tape. We fought a giant baloon, and Kcin popped it.

I think birthdays are too short because it matters what time you were born like me, I was born at 8:01 pm. So i think they should be for at least two days long.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite birthday was when I was 4 years old because that was the last time I actuly wen't some were, and it was a pretty good party. We wen't to the Calgary Zoo, and it was pretty fun. Here are some thing we did. We wen't on a safari, I got awesome clothes, we saw all the animals and a whole lot more of stuff I can't even name them all.

One of the best birthdays I've ever had was my 9th birthday. When I woke up that morning I was so pumped up, so I jumped out of bed and got dressed at record speed! Then I ran into the kitchen and ate a hardy breakfast. Yum, I thought. After that, we all hoped into the truck and drove to 4cats, then my Mom started to set up. While she was setting up, me and my brothers went exploring and we found a room filled with paint splatters! We wanted to go in, but we could not go in because the staff said so. After everyone got here we painted with watercolers! After that, we made dragons out of clay! It was the best day ever!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion birthdays are `little bit too short because whenever I wake up the day after my birthday I always feel like I should have done this or I should of stayed up later or just something like that.

And my best birthday was last years birthday when I turned nine years old. My birthday is March the first. My best birthday started out as a big suprise! My Mom had handed out all the invatations and I knew it was either Telus World of Science or Milenuim place. But as we were about to leave she kind of gave it away and it turned out we were going to Telus World of Science. When we got there we had to wait about fifteen minutes for all the guests to get here. But when the guests got here we started exploring the Telus World of Science. There were a bunch of exzibits so we did'nt get to every exzibit but we got to most of them. There was a body exzibit, and a crime scene one, a space one and WAY more! After we seen the exibits we went to a party room! It was awesome because everyone got a party hat and if they did'nt want theirs they would give it to one of my best friends. Then we had some cupcakes and then opened my presents. I got everything I asked for!!! And then me and my family went out for supper at Dennys! Next (if things could'nt get better) one of my friends could sleep over at my house!!! That by far, was the best birthday ever.

I think that birthdays are a little too short they should be at least maybe a week long like really they are only 24 hours long and you are sleeping half of the time. Because the day starts at 12:01 and most people in CANADA are sleeping at that time. So really if birthdays would be a week long even if you're sleeping at that time you would still have time to eat more ice cream and cake and chips whatever you want you could still eat it if you did not have time.

One of my best birthdays ever was when I got an ipod it was so awesome! That was my 8th birthday it was really fun I listend to music and had dance partys with my brother and had soo much fun! So I think that birthdays are too short.

My best birthday wos whan I woke up, ran to my presents. I was behind the table and my foot was in poop pile from my dog. Then I opened my presents than the yummy cake came and I blowed out the candels. Then at 7:00 pm we want bowling and at 9:00 pm we whent to Montana’s and I eat a full rack rib’s when we got home it was like 12:00 and then we wachted a movie!

Like it should not be as long as a holiday that you are going to like somewhere for two weeks! I now a lot of people would say '' Mom I want my next birthday to be for two years!'' but really in my opinoin would to have a birthday for like four days.
The best birthday I had was when I just turned seven. I had a bouncy house, I was the first one out of my brothers, to have a bouncy house! It was fun, I invited all of my friends and everyone went home like at five or six o' clock. I enjoyed it.

I think birthdays are too short because I think that 24 hours is not a lot of time for a birthday because when it is your birthday it goes by really fast . Because if you have so much fun the time will be gone so fast you wished it would be your birthday again because the time went by so fast .

The best birthday I had ever had was when I was 8 years old when my family and I went go Karting for two hours and when we were still there I bumped into my big brother and he flew out and fell in the grass. It was so funny because he got back up and got back into the go kart and drove away like nothing happend. When we got back to our house we started eating the cake that my Mom and Dad bought me for my birthday. So my big brother smashed his cake into my face then my whole family started throwing their cake into each others faces. I had to take two showers to get the cake out of my hair it was the best birthday I had ever had!!!

ReplyDeleteI personally think one day for a birthday is fine. I'm not one to celebrate that much anyway. When I was younger my mother baked me a cake and we celebrated with my family. That stopped after I was 12 years old. Now that I'm older I don't really pay attention to what happens on my birthday.
My husband keeps asking what I would like for my birthday. I don't really need anything at this stage in my life. Since his birthday is also in October, we are just going to wait and have a nice evening out in the next couple of weeks. That's all I really need.
I figure most students will say they want a longer time to celebrate their birthdays.

I've often thought that birthday celebrations should be longer than just one day, too! Pink cotton candy, you make a good point. Would you get bored of celebrating a birthday? I think I might get bored of a week of non-stop parties and presents and such.
ReplyDeleteI like how, as an adult, my birthday celebration is spread out over several days. I'll have a special meal with my family on my birthday, a special dessert with my friends on a different day, and sometimes another celebration with other family members when I visit them in the summer. (My birthday is in the summer.)
I don't think I would like to have seven days solid to celebrate. Having a few different celebrations spreads out the fun enough for me.
