Can you wait until Christmas because I can’t wait! I can’t believe there is just over a month until Christmas!
What my family does is that we all wake up on Christmas day and once everybody is in our living room everybody opens their presents one person at a time and one present at a time. In the afternoon we go to one of my Mom’s uncles or my grampa’s house and when we get there we stay for 2-3 hours talking and opening presents from our whole family.
The reason I love Christmas is because every year I can see my uncle’s cousins and aunts that I have not seen for a pretty long time! I also love the food my great grandma makes for everybody she likes to make shepherd's pie and cranberry pie and perogies and a lot of beans and carrots and corn for everybody that comes to my relatives house.
I mostly like Christmas because mostly on Christmas break my family goes to some other place in Alberta like Calgary or Red Deer for Christmas and stay there for the rest of the week!
How do you celebrate Christmas? Do you go away to New York or someplace else or do you have a big party? If you go some place else then write about what you do there!
Describe what you do for Christmas and be very specific because if you don’t it may look weird and sound weird.
If you just stay at your house and lay around you could tell a funny story about Christmas or describe the best Christmas you have had. You could describe the traditions your whole family does or you could describe the kind of food/dinner that you eat on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve.
If you have never really had the best Christmas then you could make up an Christmas you wish you had.

What a great post, Mustache Inc.! I love Christmas! As I get older I start to like Christmas even more. In fact, I'm already playing Christmas music every chance I get. I think it's annoying some people who think we should only begin celebrating in the month of December.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first year that my husband and I will be celebrating Christmas in our condominium. Well technically, this is the second year because we bought our condo around Christmas last year but I'm not really counting that.
We are debating on whether we should get a real Christmas tree this year and how big of one we should buy. My family has always had an artificial tree. Last year I went to get a real tree to set up at my in-law's house and I think I spent two hours watching it open up! Yes, two hours. It was fascinating and the smell of the pine was fabulous.
This year I'm asking Santa for an electronic keyboard piano. My latest obsession is learning how to pound out some classic songs on the piano. I figure with YouTube lessons, I can sort of teach myself how to play. I'm hoping Santa will bring that for me. I don't really need anything else.
Lastly, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the food at Christmas time. There is way too much of it but it's all so delicious I can't resist. My favourite is Stove Top stuffing. I could eat that stuff all year round.

I like Christmas because you get presents and candy and you get love from your parents. And it is very fun watching your family open their presents. And when my big and my little sister wake up we're allowed to go open and look at our stockings. Then later I have to get my Mom and Dad's coffee. Then we have to have cereal. Then we can open our presents.

I love Christmas soooooooooooooo much. My family has this glass pickle and it's a tradition that my mom hides the glass pickle inside the Christmas tree and who ever finds it first gets to open their present first.
ReplyDeleteI have had a Christmas where we didn't have a Christmas tree. It was sad. We used our black hutch as a Christmas tree but it was really fun because I got to make my own decorations and hang them on the handles and the part that was the most fun was that I sorted the presents in all the different drawers. I had mine, my brother had one, my mom and dad shared one. I have to say that was roughly the best Christmas I ever had.
Let me tell you a story. Last year at Christmas when I sent Santa my letter what I got back was a card with Santa on vacation and the card said that he got my card after he came back from giveing all the presents which crushed me but I still had an awesome Christmas plus I got a pogo stick.

i love CHristmas because my family has fun and we have turkey and stuffing. then we put on music and my mom and my grandma would dance tango we eat alot of food. we open that hat thing and get the prize then the next day we open presents. this year i,m asking for a toy for my hedgehog and Dinosaur toys. then we have fun. and im asking for a Dinosaurs life 2!. then we party even you know its over i test the new toys. thats how i celebrate Christmas
ReplyDeleteI do Christmas because I get 5-10 presents. I alsp like Christmas because I get to go to church and there is such good food. At Christmas at home I eat kurriwurst. It is very very good. I love kurriwurst. It is the best food ever.
ReplyDeleteThis year I want my laptop with Window 8 because I and my brother are sharing it and I do not like that. And I also want my own snowboard. so I can finally snowboard again. It is going to be so much fun.
I play with my presents at home and my presents are also so fun. I still love Christmas because I love to have 2 weeks off school.
I do not believe in Santa because my mom always does the presents.

WHO DOESN'T LOVE CCCHHHRRRIIISSSTTTMMMAAASSS!!!!!!!!!! Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is my favourite holiday. The way I celebrate Christmas is almost the same as "Mustache inc." except everybody takes turns opening presents for example Mama first then Papa, then me, then Blythe, then Thalia. We repeat this over and over and again until all the presents are gone (so usually this process does not require much time). Still, Winter would be nothing without Christmas. And if I might, I think I will make another point: Some people only care about presents, and they don't even believe in Santa and he's the one who delivers the presents! My family usually has turkey dinner at someone else's house, but this year we're staying at OUR house.

I celebrate Christmas the German way. The German way is not that different to the Canadian kind. German Christmas is on the 24 December and you open your presents around 6:00 to 7:00 so after coffee. My family opens presents one by one. Next when we are done we usualy sit in the living room. If I got a new video game I will play my video game.

The Christmas that I wish that I had is when I get a flying car and then I fly across the world and then all the kids well call me Cloud Rider. Also I would have the portal gun and shoot one end on the roof and the bottom and jump into it and then I, oh yeah uh huh which means I want the portal gun. If you don't know what the portal gun is you're lame. And I want the gravity hammer and the gravity gun also and a mustang car.

I love Christmas. Its the best holiday ever! :) Every year my family comes to my house. I usually sleep in then everyone waits for me. Then we all open our presents and chat while listening to Christmas music. We usually eat turkey, pumpkin pie, fruit and veggies but I forget what else.

ReplyDeleteI like Christmas because you get lots of presents and barely anyone gets bullied. Every Christmas Eve we have a party at my Oma's house, Every Christmas day we have a big party at my Grandma's house.
I don't have a best Christmas ever because all of the Christmases I had they all feel the same. At my Oma's house we usually have goose for dinner on Christmas Eve. At my Grandma's house it's hard to predickt.
I believe Santa is real. Do you beleive in Santa?

ReplyDeleteThe best Christmas I've ever had was the one in 2013. We all awoke happy and content, knowing that we had nothing to worry about or go to. So we all went to our living room and looked in our stockings, I got candy, and some small toys! Then, we all curled up in front of the tree and opened our presents. Then, we played with our toys and ate our candy, and some Christmas dinner. {chicken, gravy, stuffing, suchi, etc. etc. etc.} It was the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! But this upcoming one will be better!
We always reuse our plastic tree, instead of cutting one down and bringing it to our house every year.
One of my favourite traditions is exchanging presents. I always make gifts out of clay and stones to give to my family! Last year I made them action figures/decorations! They were all very happy!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Because my Mom makes the best food EVER! And just before Christmas eve we go to this place called The Bethlaham walk. It is soo fun because it is like we are really in Bethlaham. At the start they explane what you do there, where do you go and at the first station we go watch a play like thing and then we go into this REALLY big room and it looks like we are outside in the night.
ReplyDeleteThere is hay and real live sheep then the Sheperd said are you here to see the new born king we all say yes and then we hear VERY loud thunder and then angels come down from the sky and they sing after they are done we go to the castle and the sheperd asks the gard may we please enter Bethlehem.
Then the gard says WHY the sheperd anwsers because we would like to meet the new born king and as the gard opens the gate and then we go in and then we are in the city of Bethlaham and there is shops and we get to try tea and bread for free and there is soo much too see then there is a jail. Then the gard says come this way to see the king and we all falow the gard into a barn like place and there is cows in stables and bulls and horses. And we then get to see the king Mary and Josive.
There is Mary holding the bayb after we get to see the little Jesus we go to the last door and then we get hot coco and cookies. And then we go home and have a nice sleep and in the morning we open our presents and drink hot coco. My mom makes very nice dinner and then we go cross country skiing and we play with our dog and
have soo much fun!

For Christmas (when my family is in Canada) we usually have family over but we have to wait until evening to open our presents. My dad always makes the kids anoyed because he always says "We will put the Christmas decorations up tomorrow morning.". Then he says "We can put them up after dinner." and so on. My parents tell us to open them one by one but we don't ussualy listen. This is going to be my baby sister's first Christmas. I can't wait to see how excited she is going to be.
ReplyDeleteWe usualy go somewhere for Christmas. Last year we went to Ireland. The year before we went to Mexico. This year we are going to Victoria to visit my grandma and grandad.
I am weaving a few placemats for them as a gift. I think I already know what my grandma is going to get me as a gift. Since she is an artist, I'm betting she is going to get me either an art set or a book, since she knows I love reading so much. Anyways, that is my Christmas!

When I go to Saskatchewan for Christmas I go to my great grandmas or my uncles and my reletives from all around the world come to Saskatchewan. We always have sourcrute, perogies and yummy foods foods like that.
The best Christmas I ever had was when I was six. I got a jack-pot of presents. My mom even had a giant present and it was my FIRST STUFFED UNICORN and that was not all. I also got a fish tank. My mom had fish in a in the kitchen. There was a mama fish and it had TWO pairs of baby fish and I still have them today but not the mama fish. She died when I was eight. I hate seeing things die, God rest their souls please.

To start my comment I need to say that I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!! Its my very favourite holiday because think about it! There is a feast, family time, cookies, presents, the fresh pine tree smell, going over to my kokum's and musum's reserve, etc (by the way kokum means grandma and musum means grampa in Cree). Christmas is just amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo first off Im going to tell you what I want for Christmas this year. The first thing on my wishlist is Skylanders Trap Team and the character Spyro from season two of sets of Skylanders.
Now Im going to tell you where I actaully GO on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve I go to my kokum and musum's reserve called Alexander. The time I usally get there is like 2;00 or 3;00 o'clock because we say we are going to get there at 12;00 or 1:00 but we're ALWAYS and trust me ALWAYS late when we say what time we are going to get there. That's the reason we are called the turtles. Any ways back to my Christmas comment. When we get there I go and play with my cousins (maybe my brother will this year) and my mom and Lawrence and sometimes my little brother and sometimes my sisters go upstairs and see my uncles and aunts and kokum's and musum"s.
Here are my cousin's names: Theres Diana, Conan, Shian, Sierria (Shian and Sierria are twins), Hunter, Kale, Briley, Logan, but if I named ALL my cousins names it would probably take up ALOT of space!
The games that me and my cousins play are Freeze Dance, Hide and Seek, Tag, build a fort, there are ALOT of activities that we play. After or when we are playing, the adults say DINNER! Then all the kids run upstairs and race to get their food and I can see why because everyone always makes the most delitious food. It includes turkey, chicken, mashed potatos, yams, garlic toast, salad, potato salad and much much more!
After supper, sometimes we make a craft like a stocking or a Santa hat! Then when it turns twelve 'o clock we all go open our presents. The way we open our presents is they read the name of the person that's on the present and then read it aloud and then everyone passes the present on to you. At like one or two in the morning me and my mom, sisters, brother and Lawrence go home and go to sleep. And then in the morning we wake up and put a fireplace one the computer or TV and start to cook cinnamon buns and while they are cooking we all open our stockings and the presents from each other. Thank you for letting me share my Christmas story.

We celebrate Christmas by just sitting around all day and opening presents. We also eat a really really really big dinner just like Thanksgiving. I just LOVE Christmas!!!

I like Christmas not because of the gifts but because of what we do on Christmas night in my family. What we do is we all meet at my Auntie Elan's and Uncle Franks house at 5:00 pm and hang out for an hour and then we have supper. After supper we have dessert [it is always delisous ]. Then we open gifts that family members that could not deliver our gifts to are parents.

ReplyDeleteI believe in Santa. I usiwly go on top of my dog and when somebudy comes near him he starts to bark! Santa is very sneekey!!! Then I wake up my mom and dad and my brother and we all wate for my other brother to wake up. Then we all go to the front room alltogether. Me and my brother picke out all of our own presents into a big pile.

I don`t hate Christmas but I don`t really like how I celebrate Christmas because all we do is absalutly nothing. We just sit around and open presents. We don`t have a specile dinner or traditions.

On Christmas I would wake up as soon as I can and wake everyone up. The first thing that we do is look in our stocking then we open up our presents. Then at night we go to Uncle Jim's house and we have supper and then we open more presents. On the next day my friend's and gramea and cosons come to our house.
