How do you enjoy your winter holidays? I enjoy the winter holidays by staying inside most of the time. Some times my family and I go outside and walk or drive to a big park, close to where we live. The park has a bunch of big hills. When we go to the park we always bring our sleds. Last year I brought my snowboard because, last year I got my snowboard for Christmas.
When I stay inside for the winter holidays I usually, read, draw, play on my electronics, play games and open my presents.
When I was in Ireland I used to make snowmen, forts and snow-angels. I used to go outside, with my brother and if any of my cousins were there, we would all go outside and make snow-angels. No one in my family had snow pants so when we went outside in the snow, we would be wearing, a coat, a hat, a pair of mittens, a scarf, and normal shoes or rainboots.
This year I am probably going to stay inside a lot, like I do every year. I am planning to, play on my tablet or phone, draw a bunch of random stuff to test my drawing skills, read and, sleep in the mornings so I can stay up all night.
I just love the winter holidays. Do you like the winter holidays?

ReplyDeleteLet me tell you a story. Every single year that I can remember on Christmas day I would wake up really really early and go see if Santa came. Of cource he came. Than I run downstairs and I wake up my brother and we go upstairs so I'm just a little obsessed about the winter holidays. Even though I love love love love love school I like having a brake for the winter holidays.
What do I do outside? Well, normaly I just play outside with my friend or this is my favourite thing to do in winter: go quading with my dad but not just any quading but we shovel at the same time. It's sooooooooooooo fun.
My most memorable moment outside and again it's going quading with my dad. It's sooooooooooooo fun and when we shovel we make one giant snow pile. Than me and my friends play on it. I love winter holidays.

I LOVE THE WINTER HOLIDAYS! Because we get like two WEEKS of no school and we get to sleep in for forever. And the hot chocolate and the onezies and I want a snowbord , shopkins and a gift card for Toys R Us for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOn the winter holidays we watch tv a lot or spend time with my family. One creepy Chrismas holiday me and my mom where just watching tv and I looked up on one of our shefs and I saw A ELF ON OUR SHELF! He was looking at me and my mom and my dad was at work and he did not even know it was there and my mom did not even buy it. Then I called my brother and we named him Elfy it turns out he was very nice.
Elfy came on December 22 I was not even iterested in the tv anymore I was always so interested in our elf and every morning I went to go see where he was. We also went sledding almost ever week I love the winter holidays.

I like Winter holidays because sometimes you get to see your family members, its great! I like to go to sled parks, sleep in, I like to ski to, and a whole lode more of stuff. Sometimes I LOVE to stay inside because in Winter you can stay inside go outside or what ever you and your parents agree on (or whatever you do most of the time hehe).
ReplyDeleteMy most favourite thing to do is in Winter is proboly waking up on Christmas and opening up my Christmas presents. Yes that is it! I love present opening. If I go sleding any were it is Kheewan School park because there is a huge hill there were it is free to sled and that was my old school.

I'm kinda in the middle with liking the winter because I don't like getting snow on my skin because after having snow on my skin it starts to sting a lot. I like winter because I love going outside and playing and make a snow fort and then after at least 30-60 minutes I can go inside and get hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteWhat I do inside during the winter is sleep, play on my phone, play video games, eat, tell my little brother to go outside and take his shirt off and lay in the snow. My family also sits on our sofas and talk to one and another! The reason I do all this stuff is because I'm not feeling like going outside and playing with snow all day long because I'm a summer guy because I was born in the summer!
The thing I love most doing outside is to build snow forts and after that me and who ever is outside with me we have a huge snowball fight! I also love to go sledding with my little brother because we live by really big hills and our sled's are made out of plastic so they go pretty fast on snow so its basiclly some really fast sled ride down a hill!
My favourite winter is when my whole family went outside and got on either side of my backyard and build snow forts and once we have good forts we all go on the side that has our gender and we pack snowballs and after we have a good amount of snowballs then we countdown from five then have a snowball fight after five minutes my big brother charged at my sisters and Moms fort and broke down the wall in the front it was the best winter I have ever had!

I love the winter holidays one because its very fun and two because its pretty and you can go sledding but its cold rather then that its very fun. Me and my friends have snowball fights. Me and my friends go sledding and snowboarding and when we go to Snow Valley most of the time I stay longer.

My best memory in the winter was when we were sledding and and I was going at top speed and I hit my little sister and it was halarious and she started crying.

I like the winter holidays because we have no school for at lest two weeks. I stile like it because I go snowboarding on the ramps I bild. And going snobording with my older brother. He even trained me to snobord and how to do a flip on a ramp.

When I went on a ramp and I did a backflip. I want to go to Snow Valley again so much. Last year I went more than ten times. And when I learnd how to snowboard from my brother. But my other older brother likes to ski more then snowboarding.

What I do for Christmas holidays? I would go snow boarding, oh and sleding on this big hill. When you're on it there is a pit and when I was on it I fell into it. It was fun and it felt bad when I landed into it. I also play video games or watch TV then sometimes I have a fancy dinner. Its super good. In the mornings we have brunch. I love the eggs. They are the best part about it. I also like the bread.

ReplyDeleteWhat I do inside in the winter is card making, baking, watching TV, present wrapping, reading in the living room with a cup of peppermint tea, watching snowflakes fall with tea, making coffee and cleaning. We also have a little traditons were we watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Nightmere before Christmas". What I do outside is skiing, sledding, toboggoning, fort building, snowball fights, eating soup in thermoses with brother in our fort and jumping into snow piles back first .
My most memorable activity outside is going skiing at Sunshine in Banff with all my aunts and uncles and my cousins from my dads family.

I love the winter holidays. There are a lot of reasons that I like them to. First of all I get to visit my family and I also get to visit a lot of cool places.
ReplyDeleteWhen it is winter holidays then we are usually outside because we travel to different places and my mom and dad like to explore. Perssonly, I would rather stay in the hotel room and read.
I have two most memorable things that happened to me on winter holidays. The first one is once we were going to Ireland and we had gotten off the plane and we were in our car and we were about halfway to our house. Suddunly dad said "The throttle of the car is broken." and pulled over. We waited for about two hours in a pub until this truck came and got our car on its back. My family sat in our car but me and my dad got to sit in the truck.
The other one was in Mexico. Our hotel in Mexico was really cool. There were two swimming pools and you could swim in the ocean. There were also some different kinds of resterants and a place that had a buffet for every meal. Anyway, my uncle was having a wedding there which was why we were there. Me and my sister got to be the flower girls and then we got to keep the dresses. Well, that was my Christmas!

Sometimes I drink hot chocolate with marshmalos we also go on long walks. We also build snow fort's because we have snow ball fights and sometimes we need cover.
My most memorable thing in the winter was when I made a big snowman. Then cover it in water and waited 6 hours. Then threw it at my 2 year old sister Eva this happened this year on November 21 she was crying.

I love the winter holiday. It's my favourite holiday of the year. What I do on winter holiday is I go out to the backyard and I grab the shovel and start shoveling untill the mountain of snow gets taller and taller. Last year I went outside and bulit a snowman. It was so fun.

What do I remember about the holidays? Well one year I was sick for a long time but when it was close to Christmas my Dad was sick my Mom was sick my Sister was sick. But I was not sick but I had to get them their food and water. It was not fun. But on the bright side I was not sick! And it was cool to not be sick.

Okay so to start my comment I really just need to say, I LOVE THE HOLIDAY BREAKS (aka spring break, Christmas break and summer) I mean who wouldnt love winter break!?! Okay so a few people may not enjoy this and, hey,YOU (the person who's reading this) may not like winter, spring, or summer break but I do and right now i'm going to tell you why. In winter break there is Christmas, theres snow, theres cookies and hot chocolate, think of all the posibilities! And part of why I like it is my winter winter activities! I'm not going to name all of them, but I'm going to name quite a few. First iIm naming my outdoor activities that I do in the snow. I make snow angels, build snowman, build snow forts, go sledding and snow boarding, make gigantic snow balls, have a snow ball fight, shovel, and there's alot more but I need to name my indoor activities! Okay so let me just tell you that I love getting into my very warm one-zie, getting a fluffy blanket on, having some hot chocolate, watching a movie then pausing it, and looking outside and saying I'm so glad I'm not out there right now and that I'm inside and very warm.

My indoor activitties are drinking hot cocoa and the things I just said, sleeping in, staying up, playing video games, watching Christmas specials, going on You-tube, baking cookies, read, making scrambled or fried some sort of type of egg and there is a few more but I still need to tell you my most memorable activity outside in the winter.
My most memorable activity is building snowmen and sledding. For sledding I'm going to tell you two short story's about when I went sledding with my Aunty Abby and Uncle Mike. My Aunty Abby used to live close to this big hill by my school. She had a few sleds. These are the types of them plastic, and two long long ones. I remember we walked to the hill from her house and once we got there I wanted to go on the plastic sled and on the ramp at the same time. So I did. I remember I was so excited but when I touched the ramp I knew that I had made a mistake. The sled flew strait on the ramp and really high! I was really happy and it felt like I was flying! But all of that was about to change. I hit the ground like a rock and I felt like I broke my everything but I did'nt. I was fine but I had a bruise on one or two of my body.
My second story is when I went with my Aunty Abby and my older sister and (I don't know if my other sister was there). We were at this HUGE hill with a bunch of ramps on it (and by the way when I say ramp, they are made of snow.) and I don't think I was aloud to go with out an someone else (says mom). So one of my first times I went with my sister and I was the one sitting in the front and don't tell her I told you this but she was actaully really scared. Anyways I was sitting in front and steering and when we started , she was like DONT HIT ANY RAMPS OR BUMP INTO ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I was like okay, I promise I wont hit any people or ramps. We were actaully going pretty fast, if I do say so myself. She was scared and I was kind of scared but laughing just like when I went on this really big rollercoaster in Disney World, but anyways, very close to the bottom I fell of and covered my whole face in snow. Then my sister was like OMG ARE YOU OKAY!?! Then I said i'm fine. Thank you for reading my comment!

What I do inside is I read or draw and sometimes my mom lets me, my brother and my sister watch TV. Last year when me and my family where in Austria, me and my sister built a snow ball fort. IT WAS AWESOME!

I love the winter holidays because when they come by I always, every year my family goes to a big hill by our old house. There is a big hill that leds into the forest. Then we have to walk a little bit then we reach the hill and it has a track in between the trees. It also has a track that leds into a bush. When my dad goes on a sled he always goes into the bush.

We always biuld a snow fort for him. We always put a old blakit on the fort ground. I make a snow ball for my brother to throw at my sisters but he always ends up throwing it at me!

This winter me and my sibling want to finish my Lego Marvel Adventers game.
Last year in my old naberhood at my friends house. At the back of his house we made a gaint snow hill. Like It was as big as a tree maybe not that big but it was big. Later on my friends littel brother came out and the giant hill fell on him. My sister stayed with him and made a air hole. Me and my freind got shavels. It took us around 25 minuets to get him out! At the end we laught about it and drank hot coco!

I don`t go outside for Christmas but I just stay inside and I just watch movies with my family but I just think we are a movie watching family.
Well again I don`t do anything outside but I stay inside and play hide and seek with my cousins Ethan and Alicia and we also play first Disney Infinity 1.0 and we have a good time when it comes around Christmas.

Great post, 3DS! Winter is one of those topics that people either love or hate. There does not seem to be a middle ground. As I get older, I am starting to dislike the winter more and more. I enjoy the winter holidays though because who doesn`t want two weeks off of work.
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable moment was back in University and my friends and I went to Connors Hill with an enormous tire tube that could fit 12 people. We all piled on and flew down that hill! It was scary and exhilarating at the same time. I was scared for the people standing at the bottom of the hill because if we would have hit them, they would have broken limbs for sure!
