I think the last day of school will be amazing this year.
I am usually excited on the last day of school because tomorrow is summer vacation. We get to do something exciting (ex. go to the waterpark) and no borrrrrrrrrrrriiiiinnngggg school work (some school work is fun but other school work is boring).
Last year before we went to a waterpark our teacher allowed us to watch a movie and eat chips. This year The Big Ham told us that we might be going to Jackie Parker waterpark.
What do you think we should do on the last day of school? Do you feel happy about the last day of school or sad? I feel happy and sad. I feel happy that there is no more school until September. I feel sad because I usually don’t get to spend any more time with my teacher.
I have one more question do you think we should reward our teacher?

I think that the last day of school is awesome but sad and I wish there was at least 2 more months of school so I could do Typing Club and all that stuff but I just wish that there was JUST MORE TIME!!! ReplyDeleteI think we should have done Laser Tag for like some hours or like 4 or 6 but that could have been really fun and like playing with guns that have lasers and stuff like that.
I think that they should have the gift and because like I always give the teacher a gift because the have been really nice but like the Big Ham has been the best teacher this year so I think I am just going to give her a 50 dollar gift card for Tim Hortons.

I think that the last day of school is sad for a lot of students and happy for others. I am happy/sad for the last day. I am sad because I will probably never see the school again! I am happy because after school is over, Gopher Weekend begins! (Loooooong story)!
ReplyDeleteI wish on the last day we could have gone to W.E.M. That would be sooo much fun!! I could have hung out with my friends and rode roller coasters or something! I think everyone would enjoy that and have lots of fun! I know there is age and hight restrictions for some rides, but I think that everyone would still have a blast!
I really do think that teachers should get a reward on the last day. they had to spend a ton of months with us! That is brave. They should all get a big reward for everything! Teachers took us on field trips, helped us learn, and gave us lots of tests! They are awesome!!!

I am super happy about the last day of school! I would LOVE to spend the last day of school with all of my BFFs. I think for the last day of school we should go to a water park like Jackie Park or something.
ReplyDeleteI think that the teachers should be rewarded for teaching us students all year. Plus the teachers are SUPER nice so they should receive something for all their hard work. I love all the teachers they are awesome. I am SO happy for the last day of school but sad at the same time because I wont get to see the teachers my friends and I wont get to do all of the fun work that we do in school.
Also I am going on vacation in the summer! I am going to St. Petersburg Russia and Berlin Germany! I am so happy/sad.

I think we should give the teacher something that she likes like coffee or chocolate. It was be nice to the teacher and if you are living the school you should give her something that is good and good for you teacher. :p

I am pretty sad and happy because I am going to miss my friends and I am happy because I get to sit back relax and have a nice adventure.

We could go to West Edmonton Mall for the last day of school but we are going to Rendell Park for the last day of school. I can't wait for the field trip!!!!!!!!! I do think teachers should have a award for their hard work of trying to teach us school work. We love you teachers!!!!!!!!

I think teachers should be rewarded because they have worked hard to teach us. They totally deserve something like coffee or food or wine like my family does every year for my parents around Christmas time.

ReplyDeleteThere were many days where I was hung up on a task, but I knew if I just asked for a little help, that would be supplied by a very helpful person. that person, is the Big Ham, an amazing teacher who has helped me through so much. She is a leader, a helper, and gives you the tools you need to check that goal of your list. I have never learned as much as I did this year. And I owe it all to The Big Ham.

I am happy and sad on the last day of school because I do not get to see my friends but I get to see my cousins and you get to sleep FINALLY SLEEPY PEOPLE ARISE! And teachers should get rewards because they put up with us for 185 days!

I LOVE THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!! Because I love summer break it is the only time I do not see my friends (let's get realistic I do not see them on spring break Christmas break and something else).Also because I get to stay up late and sleep in till 2:00 pm! Summer break is the best I loved this school year we did so much fun things!!
ReplyDeleteI think on the last day of school we should have a party or a celebration or something with lots of activities and food or as what we are doing go to Rundle Park or someplace else or we could do a thing where we just say goodbye and run out the doors and smell the freedom and yell "I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!"
If she means reward gift like a field trip then yes but if she means watch a movie or something or have a huge party then ehh but the teacher puts in all her time throughout the year with field trips and stuff like experiments.

On the last day of school I feel generally happy. Occasionally I will feel sad leaving my friends and all that, but I usually never feel any sympathy.
ReplyDeleteI don't actually care what we do on the last day of school as long as it's not schoolwork, because that would be absurd. Really, who wants a spelling test on the last day of school, right?
I for one ALWAYS give the teacher a gift at the end of the year. Its kind of like my mom forces me to, but I already want to so it doesn't matter to me. I mean, they just did teach us for about 9 months of school and I personally don't think it was easy.

I think the last day of school is pretty fun because you don't really have to do any work. You also get lots of candy and stuff. Yum! The only bad part is at the end of the day everyone has to say goodbye. I know, that sounds kind of dumb, but really, everyone is just like "Goodbye forever! Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Ugh!

I think teachers deserve a gift at the end of the year. I mean, they have been teaching for the whole year! Just don't give them artwork, because they will most likely just throw it away. You should give them chocolates or something like that.

I LOVE THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!! Well yes I do miss my friends, teachers, classrooms, memory's, good times and FUN but the last day of school is awesome! The last WEEK of school is usually awesome! We do less work than in March or January or even the first three weeks of JUNE. And after is summer vacatiooooon!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis year we are going to Rundle Park. IM SO EXCITED!!!!! I have never been to Rundle Park but my friends tell me it's awesome!!!! If we could it would be pretty cool to go to Jackie Parker Park. But the kids last year went there so HELLO RUNDLE PARK! I wish I could buy junk food there but MY SISTER AHEM KEELEY! Didn't pay me back my 20 dollars from when she went out with her friends at the beginning of the month. She never pays anyone back. My other sister, me and probably others!
I do think teachers should receive a "End of year reward" but again I can't buy chocolate or coffee because of AHEM KEELEY. But if I did then I would buy THE BIG HAM something. Teachers do deserve a reward because they've worked so hard all year and put up with it (Even though they technically do get a reward, their PAY CHECK) they should get a box of chocolate or something. ONLY 5 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL!!!!

I think the last day of school is pretty calm. It's fun and sad at the same time too. It's happy because you get to have a great last day, not have to worry about homework, and get a great kick-off to a whole eight-ten weeks of summer holidays. It's sad because you can't see your friends for eight-ten weeks.

I think I will not like the last day of school because I will miss my friends and THE BIG HAM sooooooo much and some of my friends I do not have a way to contact them or anything. My friend in Grade 5 is moving to Beaumont or Banff and I will never be able to see her again or ediblepaper (she is not moving just going to a different school).
ReplyDeleteI think that we should just go to DISNEY WORLD and Rundle Park. Sometimes I just want to free swim in the middle where I can just barely see my neck. I know I am boring and stuff like that but sometimes that is exactly what some people want like me.
Yes I do think teachers should get a reward because they have been working for sooooooo long unless you just started but no matter who you are you should get rewarded except bad bad people then they should not get rewarded except for jail that is what bad bad people should be rewarded with and that ONL. But ya almost every one should be rewarded.

I feel mixed emotions about the last day of school, too. I love summer vacation, but I miss the kids I've worked with for 10 months. The best way to spend the last day of school is definitely doing something fun together, like a spray park or a party or a fun activity day. My class is going to the spray park!
ReplyDeleteI think that teachers should be thanked at the end of the year because they work very hard so that their students can be successful. Students and parents can show they are grateful for a teacher's efforts in a number of ways: give a gift, say thank you in person, write a note telling the teacher something you appreciate about them, give the teacher a hug . . . there are lots of ways to be kind to your teacher.
