What do you think about the talent show? There are tons of people who have lots of talent, but they are too scared to perform in the talent show. I think they should just go ahead and do it! Really, it’s just singing a song or dancing or doing a magic act for two or three minutes!
I’m in the talent show, but only because my friends made me. Right now, I’m kind of glad, because I couldn’t really write about the talent show if I wasn’t in it! To be honest, if my friends had not made me, I would never have screwed up the courage to even try out!
When I'm watching people on stage, if it's a song I know I feel like singing along but I don't because it's their spotlight and I don't want to take it away. For some people who think they have talent but don't, I feel really embarrassed for them because they could be making fools of themselves. However, it's still really courageous of them to go up on stage and perform.

What do I think about a talent show this year, well I think it is a great idea for people to show there talent and have a chance to be on stage. I love going to the gym for the talent shows we have because we get less school work to do before recess.

I think the talent show is a great idea. Everybody can get a chance to do something. I have never went to the talent show even though I have lots of talents. I am not afraid to go to the talent show but I do not like the talent show if I go I think I am going to screw up our something. NO I would never go in the talent show because like I said I would probably screw up or something.

I love the talent show. For as long as I can remember I have always been on the talent show. Every year I always sang. Last year I sang dynamite with paincakes and pinkcottoncany. We had a blast!

My talent is singing. Last year when I came off stage I got quite a few compliments. I felt proud of myself.

I do not like talent shows that much and I think you should not be in one and do something worse rather than have some free time.

I think the talent show is a great assembly or concert. We should have them three times a year.The talent show is a great opportunity for people that have talent but unlike me I have no talent well I guess I have one which is Skateboarding but i cant perform that on a stage.

I think that the Talent show was a good idea because it's a time for students express their talents (obviously) and repel fear of the stage. I have participated in one talent show in grade one, where I played the kazoo. I toooted along to star wars music.

Tap dancing, baseball, fencing, swordfighting, building Lego, writing code, building electrical curcuits, Chainball (my made up sport), play the drums, play guitar, sing, running and write music. Quite a list, eh? I'm pretty sure there are a few more that I didn't mention, though.

I love the talent show. I did the talent show last year and the year before. I am also planning to do the talent show this year too. My talent is singing. The first year I did ''Call Me Maybe'' by Carly Rea Jepson. I did another song by her the year after called ''Curiosity'' again, by Carly Rea Jepson. The song that I am doing this year is ''Die Forrelle'' by Franz Schubert it is a beautiful song.

I like the talent show! I like it because it gives kids a chance to show their inner talents! Though it is kinda embarrassing when you get on the stage. When your done its fine though. I did participate in the talent show with my best friend, ediblepaper! We sang this really weird song called "Its Raining Tacos". It didn't turn out the way I pictured it though. ediblepaper got "costumes" AKA taco headbands ( don't ask) and big pants (don't ask about that either). She the only one who got big pants and a headband but I was fine with it. I had a taco headband at least though! When we got on stage she slipped and had a laugh attack for half our time. Then we sang half the song and our time was up. I don't really have a talent but my friends and family say I am funny. And I'm a straight A student. Maybe I do have a talent but I haven't discovered it yet. I probably will! Soon I hope. Thanks for reading!!!

I kinda like talent shows because it is a good time for people to show the school (or the world) that they have talent. I'm not saying talent shows are the best (for me anyway) but for some people they are! No offense people who like talent shows.

Also I have been in the talent show in grade two I did jokes the reason why is because I just wanted to make a joke but I messed up!

I think it is cool having a talent show because you get to see lots of people's talents. It's good having a talent show because we don't have to do school work.

I think the Talent Show is a great opportunity for kids to show off their talent. I enjoy most of them like Circus animals from last year. I really like seeing people with pipes of gold.
ReplyDeleteI have particeapated in the Talent show before. I danced and sang with candyruls5 and pinkcottoncandy. I loved singing my solo because it was slow and let me sing my heart out in ballad style. Our song was Dynamite by China Anne Mclane.
My talents are singing, dancing and acting. I sing all the time when I am not eating.
I dance when I feel like it and I used to take drama.

I think the Talent Show is a fun, exciting way to end the year. I think this because the Talent Show lets students show everyone all the stuff they are capable of. I really enjoy being in the Talent Show because I usually do something with fatblockofcheese and everyone usually thinks our act is funny. I hope the joy of the Talent Show will be shared with other kids in our school and community.
ReplyDeleteI love to be in the Talent Show! In fact, I have been participating for two or so years! Last year, I was in an act with fatblockofcheese, my friend. We sang, "It's Raining Tacos!" and wore taco headbands. I also wore big rain pants that were pulled up to my arms! When we went onto the stage, fatblockofcheese said, "This is a very serious act, people!" which made my legs turn to Jello and I fell over laughing because that is a total lie. I wasted half our time laughing on the floor. We only got to sing half our song.
I think my talent is singing. I think I have a good singing voice, but I would never use it in front of people. I am too afraid to sing in front of people.

Having the talent show is a good thing well for me I think that it is a good thing because it gives kids a chance to actually show their talent and experience of 'being famous'.

I think a talent show is okay. It's really fun and you get to see and you get to see talented kids throughout the school. Also, certain acts are really fun, awesome, and pretty cool. Anyways, here is a secret...(if you want to get like a hour out of learning go for watching the talent show).
ReplyDeleteYes, I would participate in a talent show, why? Because I already signed up for it! Anyways, I have already been in the talent show before. A lot of kids be nervous, but whatever you do, do NOT ask for ideas on how to make yourself less nervous.

I think that the talent show is a very good idea. It should happen every year because if kids want to show there talent then they should be able to. Sometimes they won't want to there talent then don't. Everybody deserves a chance in life to do what they want.

sometimes I want to enter in the talent show but I always wimp out and get scared and stuff like that. I want to enter with a friend but octavia is never here when I want to do something with her or tell her something.
My talent is the cup song I can do it with my eyes closed and fast like something really fast like a fast person. I can do a lot of other things but im not going to mention them now because I have to go!
