Have you ever taken a vacation to a place outside of Canada?
I have been to Jamaica and Mexico. I went to Jamaica in January and Mexico in March for ten days each time. I had a lot of fun at both places and was very sad to have to return to Edmonton.
In Jamaica I jumped off a cliff and a waterfall that is a 300ft cliff. I was scared at first but it was fun. At first it looked really scary because the person told me that if I jumped off the wrong way, my life jacket could come off and I could drown! But my Mom did it first and then I went down because I saw that she was okay. Except I was worried about her because she wasn't wearing a life jacket. Did you ever jump off something in your life?
In the summer my mom and I are going to Ontario and then we will go to see some family. I think we will have fun there.
Also, I would like to go to Paris which is in France. I would love to see the Eiffel Tower. I think it will be cool if I was going to Paris because it would be nice.

I think that vacations are a fun and spiritual way for family's to spend quality time together, and to relax. Vacations are soothing, fun, and sometimes fearful.
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable vacation is probably when I went to Orlando with my family. It was amazing and fun. My dad and I went on all the roller coasters I could go on. It was a blast!
This summer I am going on a very big and important trip. I am going just with my mom (because dad and Senzay200 didn't want to come) and her friend Alissa. We are going to Disney World and Orlando for a thing called premiere event. I'm sure that will be a blast too! I'm going to meet people like Ariana Grande, Peyton List, Cameron Boyce you get the idea. This vacation is going to be from the 13th to the 18th but I'm staying there longer I'm going to be there from the 10th to the 21st of July.
For a dream vacation I would go to Marine Land or the home of Grace the American Girl doll... Paris, France. I would like to go there to paint and explore. And I would love to stay there for 3 weeks thats it. Sometimes I get a little homesick.

I love vacation. I am also going on vacation this summer to Germany and Russia to see some friends and family. We usually go on vacation for 6 weeks but this year we are going for 4 weeks. I am super excited to go to Russia because we are going to St. Petersburg. My great Aunt has datcha which is like in the outside of St. Petersburg and we can walk to the bay. My great Aunts datcha has a very old house. It is so old they even have this lake thing that is smaller then a real lake but her son put a air matriss on it and I got stuck at the back of the lake thing so he had to hand me a stick to row my self back! At night heghogs crawl around with their babes.
ReplyDeleteThere's also frogs. Once I looked at the grass because it was moving so I picked up the thing that was moving and it was a babe salamander! I put it in a glass jar and it's tail fell off. I took it back to my babushkas apartment and put it in a bigger jar and I feed it fresh ants, spiders, ladybugs everyday! At the time when we needed to go I set him free.
My dad lived in Germany for 5 years and he had a friend that he worked with now had friend has a wife and a daughter. They let us stay in their apartment when we go to Germany. We stay in Berlin I love love LOVE Berlin.
I also have been to BC Vancouver and Canmore.

This year I am going to the Canaidien east coast. I'm staying for two weeks.

ReplyDeleteIn the summer I will go to Germany. I CAN'T WAIT ANY MORE! My favourite vacation was in the fall I went on a curise that took me to Costa Rica a private island. Then it took me back to the dock where we drove to Disney World.

I think you meant Castaway Cay, which is part of the Bahamas, not Costa Rica That was a very fun trip, even though you didn't win an ice cream eating contest like you did on your Mexico cruise. :)
DeleteYou also went to Sweden and Norway when you were just only a 1 year old. It took us about 19 hours to get to Sweden, so not a fun journey to remember :D That trip was also your first trip to a Disney park when we took the train from London to Paris via the "Chunnel" - the tunnel under the English Channel.
We also had one road trip RV vacation to the US earlier that same year (2006), where we had one stop to Yellowstone National Park and saw "Old Faithful".
In Canada we've done some trips within Alberta and BC (including Vancouver Island, where you found the pirate treasure chest buried on the beach) - we were thinking of doing some more this year but changed our plans and decided to go to Germany instead.
You've done a lot of traveling so far! I've known people who never left the province until in their 20's...
Yes I like talking vacations because when you take a vacation you don't have to work.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOOVE VACATIONS!!!!!!! Even if I didn't, I would have to learn to love them. Why, you ask? Well because every year my mom takes the whole family (Herself, me, my two sisters, my little baby bro and my step-dad) on a HUGE vacation. One time we went to HollyWood, and another time we went to The Grand Canyon. One time we went to Disney World and pretty much all of the states. So yeah. We only drive though. So per day, about like 6-7 hours in the car. We stop and stretch our legs one in a while at least.
ReplyDeleteHeres a story about the time I went to..... DRUMROLL PLEASE (DUM DUM DUN DUM....)..... HOLLY WOOD!!!!!We went about 2 years ago... It was awesome when we got to Holly Wood! First we went to the beach! Then we drove around the neighborhood! At night we walked around the incredibly famous STARWALK OF FAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stars with names on them I saw that caught my eye was... Walt Disney, Adam Sandler, Micheal Jackson, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and probably more!!!! There were also people dressed up as characters from TV shows and Movies! Then Elmo and Cookie Monster walked up to us and asked if they wanted to get a picture of them with my brother (not telling them the price) we said yes but after they charged FIVE DOLLARS!!!!! FIVE!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! I also saw Chucky from Childs play, That pirate from Pirates of the Carabian and more. After we were done looking around we decided to go out for supper at The Hard Rock Cafe! There was like an Ipad we could order on and there was a show!!!! It. Was. AMAZIN'.
This year I am also going to go on a vacation. I'm going to Saskatchewan, Ontario, maybe passing through the states and maybe other things. My moms not done planning. The things that I am doing during this time is visiting family. After my vacation I'm going to move to another house. But fortunately not to another school!
The places that would make all my dreams come true to go to for me are: 1. Ireland. I know its usually raining but I have just this strange feeling that I need/ should go there and I like the accent... 2. Scotland. I like the accent. 3.England. Accent!!!! 4.Cuba we were supposed to go there but instead we went to Disney World. 5. things that I forget.

ReplyDeleteI looooooooooooooooooooooooooove taking vacations. I love going to BC because we always go to this one beach and there is a 30 foot bridge that I always jump off of and randomly. My nanie and papa always randomly say hey lets go tubing. and its really fun.
The place I want to go is Jamaca and Mexico and I really want to go to Bora Bora and I will go to BC again this year.

ReplyDeleteThe best vacation I have been on is when my family went to Portarico. We went to the beach every single day and walked around and saw this big castle looking thing in the distance. We went to it and got lost we finally found out where the exit was we spent a week and a half there.
I do not know if my family is going on a vacation this year.
I would love to go to the United Kingdom this year. I have went 2 times before and I loved it!!!!!

One of my most memroble trips is my second time to Disney World when I was in grade 2. It was one of my most memroble because on my first trip I was 3 so I do not remember it. I spent 7 days there with my mom, dad, brother, grandma and grandpa. We went to Epcot and three others that I can't remember their names, Legoland and Universal Studios.
This summer I will be going on a very complicated trip. First I'm flying to Ontario, after that I'm driving to North Bay visiting my grandma then driving to Manatulen Island to visit my aunt and uncle. I also get to see Hamlit and Nigera Falls.
I would love to go to most of Europe because I love traveling.

ReplyDeleteOne of my most memorable vacations was one year ago. Last year we went to Jasper for St. Patrick's Day, and celebrated by staying in a hotel for two days. It took a four hour drive. When we were there, we drove through the Rocky Mountains, walked among a mountain, and went and saw a bear den! It was fun! At the hotel, there was a fancy restaurant, a swimming pool, five hot-tubs, and lots, and lots of bedrooms! There was the swimming pool, then one hot-tub inside, then four hot-tubs outside. It felt really good to be out in the cold, and then jumping(not physically)into the 40 degree hot-tub!
Yes, I'm going on vacation this summer in August. I'm going to Banff! I'm going for like a week. It's going to take a five or six hours drive.
I would LOVE to go on vacation to New York, Paris, and Hollywood. Many of the places where "famous people" live. I'd also LOVE to go to Hawaii, WHEN there is NO volcano eruptions. I LOVEEE VACATION!

I love love love vacations because they mean no school for like a week!!! One of my most memorable vacations was when I went to California to Disneyland, Sea world, California Adventure Park and Legoland.

VACAS ARE SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I have been on not many vacations but I have been on some awesome and fun ones! For ex. Banff, I went camping there with my family and it was so fun. We go to rost murshmellows and hot dogs and go in my dads canoe.

I love taking vacations so much. It is so fun because it is very interesting. Once I was in Calgary but I was really sad that I was going on a vacation and I was leaving Edmonton. It was the horrible thing that has happen to me but I felt better. I ate a lot of food there.

I love vacations! The only thing I don't like about vacations is long flights or drives. They are so loooooooooooooooong and booooooring! Even though I usually read. The reason I loooooove vacations is not that there is no school, like some people. There are tons of reasons why vacations are super fun! For instance, you go swimming, like, every day!
ReplyDeleteWe go to Mexico practically every Christmas, but the most memorable by far was a few years ago. My uncle had his wedding there. In the winter! We were still in Mexico when it was my birthday, so we went to a resturant. One day after that, we left for Ireland. Crazy schedule!
This summer I am going camping straight after school ends. It's going to be super awesome!
I think it would be cool to go to Greece. I like learning about the Greek gods and I know a fair bit about them. In Greece I could see, like, their temples and statues of them.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite vacation was by far when we went to Disneyland with our best friends, the Crofts. We had tons of fun. The fireworks, parades and shows were amazing. My favourite ride was Splash Mountain.
This summer, we're going camping at Old Macdonalds resort, which is 20 minutes outside Stettler and right beside Buffalo Lake. And... We're going with Crofts! My mum said that we're going on the 14th of July, for four days. They have all kinds of activities like boating, fishing, go karting, train riding, baseball playing and much more.
I really really really want to go to Disneyworld. It would be fun.

I like taking vacations because they let me relax and enjoy myself and so I can have fun. Sometimes I have to work and walk a lot but I'm fine about it because at least there is no school because sometimes I get bored but I listen and copy and do work and stuff like that so ya I like vacations.

I went across the border and I met some cousins that I never knew existed and we all became really good friends and one of my cousins Tony ate a root beer warhead and operantly they are the most sourest and hottest of them all and he ate the whole thing.
This summer I might be going to BC again this summer but I'm not sure but I hope so, so I can see all my cousins again and all my friends like Kamren and other people and I just want to go there soooooooo bad.
I really want to go to Mexico so bad I also don't want to go because I don't want to not see my friends from school for the whole summer but it would be fun going to school.

I love taking vacations! They are lots of fun! Vacations are a time to get away from your busy schedule and take it easy for a few days. That is why I love them. Well, that and the fact that my mom transforms from momzilla to a peaceful and kind tourist. (If you are reading this mom, then you did not see that)!
ReplyDeleteOne of my most memorable vacations was the time I went to the rodeo. My little cousin was there, who in this post I will call "Four". Four is a little kid who is four and therefore very "bizzare." He is always yelling and playing with toy trucks. Four "killed" me five times. (he used bubbles)... Me and my older brother, cheesehead, discovered a secret building made of logs. It is located in ________, ___________.
We used it as a secret hideout and a nice, quiet place to escape Fourdom. It was nice! After I saw the rodeo, I really wanted to ride a horse! And I still do! My mom said she will arrange a time to go and ride one!
I have always wanted to go to Disneyland! It is supposed to be really fun and I want to go there!!! But that is pretty much all I know about it....
