What do you think of the blue sheets that we get every week? I think it is cool because it is a very good way to learn our spelling words. If we hand them in all the time we can get a free lunch at Subway or something else. Last year there was seven kids that got to go because they handed their blue sheets in. Do you think that you will go and be one of the seven? Do you or do you not like them and why.
They’re fun sometimes but if you don’t do a good job at them she will read them out loud and that will be embarrassing.
There was a kid that never handed in her blue sheets. Then one day she did all of her blue sheets. That was a mountain! It was an inch of paper off the ground.
Do you think it is okay to not do your blue sheets?

Great post, Space Unicorn2244! This topic is one that everybody grumbles about but I haven't really had anybody come up to me personally and make comments on it. Perhaps this is a great avenue for people to give their true opinions "anonymously."
ReplyDeleteJust so we're clear, the reason I read out the sentences on a blue sheet is if THERE IS NO NAME ON IT. It is NOT to embarrass a student! I always advise you guys to put your name on it when I had it out on Monday. I merely read them out so that someone will claim it. As somebody has already mentioned, if your sentences embarrass you, then write more sophisticated ones.

I think they're cool because they teach us our spelling test words and handwriting. I dont think I would like to be one of the seven kids because I would be inside for recess.

I think blue sheets are the most evil and they are a waste of time. They are so bad that you cant even do it. I hate blue sheets. There's no reason to do them because I still do horrible on my test.

For some reason l don't want to get rewarded because we get lots of things.

I love blue sheets because when I'm at home I am bored out of wisdom because I usually finish my homework, but now that we have blue sheets and I'll never be board again!

I think the blue sheet is a good help with people and helps them use sentences and spell words. Espechally for kids who don't know how to spell. Even if you do know how to spell it's a good practice for you.

What I think about the blue sheet is that it is the worst thing in the whole world because you have to write five sentences. If you did not do them you have to stay in at recess and then you will not have lots of fun.
