Our students were the captive audience of an Earth Rangers presentation this morning. This is a conservation organization dedicated to educating children about biodiversity. It also inspires children to adopt sustainable behaviours and empowering them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats.
There are four animal ambassadors that were presented: Phantom, the pine snake, Linus, the hawk, Leonard the falcon, and Millie the armadillo.
Most of the students were eager to commit to becoming an Earth Ranger.
There were four animals that required protection:
1. Peregrine Falcon
2. Little Brown Bat
3. Wolverine
4. Cold-Water Coral.

I think the presentation is really good because there was animals.

ReplyDeleteI am an Earth Ranger already. I raised over 30 dollars. This year me and some of my friends are trying to raise more than 40 dollars.
I loved all the animals. One of them touched me on my head.

The best part of the show was when you showed the animals and how to protect the animals and when you showed us the website.

I did not like the Earth Ranger presentation at all except for the part with the animals. It would have been better if they let the animals out in to the gym.

I liked the pine snake the most because it looked the coolest.

I loved the presentation today because my life is all about animals. I love them so much that I became an Earth Ranger last year and I would love to become one again. Last year my goal was 75 and I reached it. This year my goal is going to be 300.

I liked Linus the hawk because when he was flying he touched my head with his foot.

I loved the Earth Rangers Presentation! I think the presentation was great. I love animals so it was fun for me. All the animals the Earth Rangers showed us was so nice. I loved the Earth Rangers Presentation!!!

I like all the ambassadors. Phantom the pine snake, Millie the armadillo, Linus the hawk and Leonard the falcon. But I enjoyed Leonard the falcon because you got to see him fly.

I really liked the Earth Ranger presentation because when they brought out the four animals, the animals were really nice and adorable. I wish that I could touch them!
ReplyDeleteI am interested in becoming a Earth Ranger because I like to protect animals. Animals need help and I don`t like animals to die and disappear. If I ever got a chance to be an Earth Ranger I would protect wolverines!
I liked Milly the armadillo because she kept on running around and she would never get tired. I also liked it when she tucked her into her body.

I love animals so much that I would like to fill my house with them! To bad that my parents say that two cats is enough. (I want another cat, ten fish, baby sit my grandams dog.) That's why I LOVED the presentation at school.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little bit interested to be a Earth Ranger because if somebody will need to pay then my mom's or dad's money will finish off. (I go to art school, my parents pay. I go to music class, they have to pay. I go to Russian school, they have to pay. I go to gymnastics, they have to pay. I go to school, THEY HAVE TO PAY!!!) Wow now I know why my mom and dad work so much.
I like the pine snake. He was really long!

For today's presentation was a little bit corny but eh its fine. What I really like about the presentation was we got to see these really cool animals.

I'm very interested about becoming a earth ranger because it would be very nice to help endangered animals. I would want to protect the coral and the little brown bats.
I enjoyed Chris the most because 1: that's the name of my mom's boyfriend. 2:because well also because (that's the name of my mom's boyfriend).

I thought that the presentation was okay! I really liked how they brought in the animals and let a few of them fly! But I'm not a "real" animal fan.
ReplyDeleteI"m not interested in Earth Rangers because I don't like animals. I know they provide us with plenty of things to help us survive but I don't like animals. Plus if you become a Earth Ranger you can do a bake sale to help support, but when you bake your OWN treats, you're not even allowed to eat them! I don't like animals. Seriously, I'm not joking. I even did a few research on why I don't like animals. Here's the ADDITION: Me+Animals= animal is dead. Here is the SUBTRACTION: Me-Animals= animals is alive and happy. I once had a pet goldfish. Well, it wasn't MINE but it was my sister's. She got it because she started "crying" because she didn't score a goal in U4? I wanted to call it Rotten Grapefruit, but my sister called "Orange Fish". Another reason why me and animals don't mix, is because I come up with horrible names. Eventually it died, R.I.P Rotten Grapefruit, the soccer ball got its revenge.
I really like Linus because he was super fast flying in the gym.

I think it was awesome. It was so cool when they brought the animals. It was amazing. My favorite animal was the snake. It was so cool. It slithered all over the place. Did you know that the snake ate mice because it does not have a jaw so it can eat up to three times its size? It is green.

They say that the little brown bat had a white nose syndrome so I chooses little brown bat.

ReplyDeleteYES!!!!! I would love to be a Earth Ranger. The reason why I want to do this is because to see all these animals be extinct is just sad.
The animal I would protect is the Little brown Bat. Also the armadillow Milly.
