Report cards are coming out this Friday. I’m excited to get mine because I think I did really well this term. I’m usually happy to get my report card because I think I’ll get good marks.
My best subjects are Art and Social and I think I will get the highest marks for them. I think I won’t get that good a mark in Science because it is a harder subject for me. I usually get good marks in Science but I don’t think I will this term.
My mom does not allow me to see my report card. She just tells me the marks. I’m not sure why she won’t let me see it. What she doesn’t know is that I can access it through Schoolzone. If she doesn’t let me see it this term, I will secretly go look myself.
My mom will get upset if I get a bad mark. She will be very disappointed with me and give me a lecture. This makes me upset also. But if I do really well, she’ll feel happy and she’ll give me a prize. We get to go shopping at Bonnie Doon Mall and I get to pick out whatever I want.
How do you feel about report cards? Do you get good marks? Do your parents allow you to look at the report card?

I think report cards are bad because if I get a bad mark my mom and dad always yell in my face. They also ground me from electronics for a week and that is really bad to my life.

My parents react to my report card by buying me something if I get a good mark but if I get a bad mark they yell in my face like monsters yelling at each other.

I think report cards are good because so you know what you have to work on. But honestly I'm a little scared for the comments. Report cards are good also because your parents can give you parents a lecture. But if you do bad you better watch out.
ReplyDeleteI think I did pretty good mostly A's and B's so I think I'm in the clear. I think some of my comments aren't going to be so good though. I think in math I am going to get a A, in Science a B, Social a B, Phys. Ed., an A, French a B-A. So I think I'm good.
If I get a good grade they say "good job keep it up" and they give me a hug and if I'm lucky a ice cream. If a bad grade like a C they give me a humongous lecture. But I have never, never, never, have ever got a C. If I did I would never come out of my room. They would punish me for a year no t.v iPod computer.

I LOVE REPORT CARDS. I like them because I usually get chocolate milk or a tub of ice cream. Sometimes I don't get anything which is not fair because last I did better then my sister but my parents didn't get me anything, but my sister got socks!!!! Another reason why I like it is because when I do good, but I'm bad all day, it becomes a good day.
ReplyDeleteI think I will get straight A's because I've been trying to improve on the subjects from last year to this year. I know this because I study so hard for all my tests but end making REALLY stupid mistakes because I have a issue of rushing.
My parents sort've get mad at me sometimes because they know I can do better but I swear when my brother starts school, my dad says he is going to be smarter then me and my sister, but I feel like he won't even care because all he care about is punching my sister. But if I do good my parents, well mostly my mom said it, but she said I will get a phone but obviously that has not happened. Also, parents don't look at the grade, they read the comments

I'm not so sure about this report card even though I'm usually a good student. I don't know for sure if I got an A in Science and Social because I did not get my tests back. I usually get A's and sometimes B's.

I probably will get a B in Science, but I studied for my unit test for hours per days to get a good mark. As some people say you never know. So maybe I will get a A in Science. Even though Science is one of my subjects, I still don't like to study. Same with social.
When I get my report card I react IF I get a B. Even though people say a B is a good mark I still feel that I could have done better and get a A. That's me. In grade one I always got straight A's, but grade one is so easy.

I like report cards because If I get good marks I get some kind of reward. Last year my little brother got a D in LA so now every week he has to go to Kumon and its really annoying. I'v never failed a grade or a class but last year I got a C in art.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll do very bad this report card. I'll do bad in French because I'm horrible at speaking French. I'll do bad in La because I'm terrible at spelling. And I think I'll do bad in all the rest just because.
My parents reward me ten dollers and A so my parents reward me pretty good. Last year I got 60 dollers for the first report cards last year. 50 for the second and 40 for the last one. Normally I read the first two or three comments then just look at the rest of the marks.

I love report cards because I get marks that I am proud of. They are fair too. I hear that some people hate report cards but well I guess that is their opinion.

If I got those marks I would be pretty happy. My parents would be happy too. I would really HAPPY if I got all A's.
If I get four A's or more my parents would get me a prize. If I get something really bad my parents would yell my name in a special way which is not bad and good. Its creepy.

I like report cards because its a different point of view! It is fun to see your progress from the outside because you are concentrating on working on the inside.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll do OK. Not too good but OK because I have been really busy this term, I know that's a poor excuse. That's why I'm going to focus and try a lot harder next term. I feel like I'm doing my least best in Social, Science and French. On any test, if I don't know the answer to a question, I cover it up with bad humor! It works!(most of the time...) With my dance,acting AND cello, it's kind of hard to focus on anything else. I do my best though!
My parents usually just say good job! And congratulate me. I don't get anything but I don't need anything. If I do bad (rarely happens) my parents give me advice on how to do better and manage my study time.

ReplyDeleteI don't like report cards. I love them. They're awesome because I get to see what the teachers really think of me. Sometimes they say you're going to get a good mark but you get a GREAT mark or a bad one if you never pay attention in class.

I think I will get a A in Math, Science, Social, Phys. Ed., Health, Music, L.A. and Art. I think I will get a B in the rest of the subjects.
How do parents react to your grades?
My mom gives me and my brother and sister 20 dollars if we pass but my dad just says good job and keep up the good work because my dad thinks he should not have to pay us for chores or anything but that is ok with me. I like helping out.

I think there scare them to death because I get some bad marks. I think that I am going to get the bad mark because last time I got B or C sometimes I get D.

Reports are Friday I so so so so bad I hate them. I think I will get in trouble. When I get bad marks my granny says she is going to shoot me. I'm going to do so so so so BAD!!!!!!

Normally my parents have a good reaction about my marks other than last year my cursive was sloppy so they had a bad reaction.

I think that I will do good on this report card because I have been listenining in class when I should be listening and finest all of my prochaks in time. Some times I finish my prochaks the day before they are due. I hope I do good on my report cards this term.

My parents are always happy with my grades. I am also happy about my grades. My parents will usually give me $5 or 10$ depending on how I did. This always makes me really happy because,I can buy whatever I want!!!!!

I think about report cards is that every time I get them my mom kind of gets upset because mostly I get bad marks on Science because for me it is really hard and I am still kind of new to Canada.

My parents act a bit mad and I am mostly scared about the comments and if I get good mark my mom lets me do what I want for 2 hours and I am not sure if I will get good mark on Science because its hard for me and if I get bad marks my mom gets very upset.

I think Report Cards are awesome because my mom and dad sees how good and responsible I am at school so that way I can get prizes because of my good grades! Also every time we look at the computer I get really happy when I get good grades.
ReplyDeleteI think I will get A's again because last year and two years ago I got A's. How I always get A's is because I get 80% or over than that in my tests. I am really sure that I'm going to get good grades because I try my very best at school and I tried staying out of trouble.
Every time I get really good grades my parents always say that they're proud of me and then they take me to malls to go shopping. I am even proud of myself when I get amazing grades too!
