Basketball is my favourite sport of all time. I love basketball because I love scoring goals, playing other games such as Horse, being on defence and practicing with my brother, lay-ups and stealing the ball. I want to get better at throwing free throws and three pointers and in general, just better at the sport. I also want to play with new people.
I have a basketball, but it’s really small. I would like to own a regular size basketball but my older brother has one.
My brother is a skilled player in basketball. He trains with his friends after school to get better. He hopes to make it to his high school basketball team. I hope he does it but the coach pick a bad player instead of him. I guess that player was in that school for a long time or that was his son or that kid is important. I think my brother was way better than the kid that got picked.

ReplyDeleteI don't follow any basketball players because my dad mainly watches hockey and so we watch hockey. I only watch soccer when I feel bored because I really love the sport, I just feel like too much soccer makes me go crazy. Plus I don't know any leagues I just cheer for the team that is winning.
I used to never get why hockey was a sport, mainly because I was really little and grumpy. But since my dad would watch the games for hours, I would have nothing to watch on T.V so I would watch with him. Then slowly I started to love watching hockey. When I was a baby, the Oilers went into the playoffs, and then eleven years later they got in again! Well, that is what my mum told me. Now I really hope the Oilers win the Stanley Cup. My favorite players are Connor McDavid and Patrick Maroon.

I like basketball but I prefer soccer because I don't like to use my hands in lots of sports, and my hands are used for more important things instead of basketball and I don't like to bounce a hard ball on my beautiful hands.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who the Toronto Raptors are because I don't watch sports on T.V and I don't go to basketball games. I would rather watch videos on Youtube instead. There's way better things to watch than basketball.
I'm not a fan of the Edmonton Oilers because my dad says they never win but the Oilers proved him wrong. I don't like orange pop,but the people who like pop should be happy.

I think basketball is marvelous! I love shooting balls in the basket. I don't why but I just think its fun! I have a basketball and small net at my backyard but I don't really play with it that much because it always keeps snowing and the weather changes a lot. Only in sunny days I can play basketball outside to get 60 mins of playing.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know if I even follow the Toronto Raptors. I'm not really a huge fan of teams so I don't really know which team I follow. But I do like sports but just not the teams and stuff.
I think the Edmonton Oilers playoff is wonderful! Although I don't really get the point of hockey by hitting a puck with a stick, why can't you just hit it with something else and another thing is why do you have to be on the ice? Why can't you just run around and use your feet to play hockey? I do like watching hockey but I don't know how to skate.

I am not a big fan of basketball. I don't really like using my hands for any sport especially basketball because if you have long nails sometimes they break. I think you can use your hands for other important stuff.

I don't like the Oilers because they have been losing for about ten years. My dad likes them a little bit. I like the name Orange Crush because I like pop but still don't like hockey!

Believe it or not, but I DON'T LIKE BASKETBALL!!! I don't like it because I'm scared of the ball! No I'm not a scardycat, but every time I play this game I get hit in the chin or right in my head! If the ball would be softer, then I would like to play that game. I'm going to tell you how I got hit twice and I will never forget these times.
ReplyDeleteOn the first time I got hit is on a sport camp, we were playing basket ball. On the third day I got hit so hard that I had a small concussion! After that I went home and lay in bed all day.
On the second time we went on the school field. (Me, my friend, and her brother.) Me and my friend were peacefully playing on the swings and her brother was doing nothing as usual. Then some kind of teenager came into the field and asked me if I want to play basketball. Me and my friend said no, but her brother said yes! We were telling him to go to home but he is so stubborn. At the end my friend was playing too!!!! Then I was also forsed! I was the oldest. I had to bring them back home before he does something bad. He did. He threw the ball right at my face. I could not take it anymore. I ran home with steam coming out of my ears. My friend with her brother ran behind me. When we got home they were leaving so I screamed at the boy "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU LEARNED IN GRADE ONE THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK TO STRANGERS!" After that he never talked or played with strangers.
I am not a fan of Oilers at all. In fact I don't know why Canada would do anything for hockey. I think it is silly that people cry if the other team scores on the Oilers.

I think basketball is really bad because there is a basket and there is a ball and my sister likes it so I have to not like basketball. I also think basketball is bad because my sister was going to join a team.
ReplyDeleteI do not follow the Toronto Raptors just because they are a basketball team and they suck at making names. I also don't follow any other sport but Egyptian soccer.
I think the Edmonton Oilers making it to the play offs is bad because now everybody is wearing orange and blue. My family is going crazy and the Edmonton Oilers are giving me nightmares about them and they are about to rule the entire galaxy.

I think basketball is pretty cool. I play it once in a while. Throwing the ball is the funnest part of the game. I am really good at it. I would never want to be on a team though because it would get boring. I only want to play once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue about the Toronto Raptors. Never heard of them. Just by looking at them I know I would like them a lot. Not. Really it's kind of stupid just bouncing a rubber ball. On the other hand SOCCER, AND HOCKEY ARE AMAZING like the best thing in the world. Some people are lazy so they don't like sports like me , but I also like sports.

I would die without them! I watch all their games. Last year no offence the Oilers absolutely ... sucked. They were horrible. They were making me die.

I do not have an opinion about any sport. I just dont watch sports not even on TV. I went to watch sports three times but it did not catch my eye. I only go for the food. I go for the food so much my sister calls me a PIG.

I don't have a single clue about ANYTHING involving basketball, literally. I know I say this all the time, but its true, I don't mind basketball, it doesn't mind me. Seriously, me and basketball are pretty chill. No, I do not mean we sit in beanbag chairs together sipping some apple juice, but we are pretty chill.

I love basketball! Two years ago I was on a team. My coach said because I'm the best on my team and I was the best deker on my team so he let me have no pashin. One time my coach talked to another coach and we did a playoff game and last period there was 10 secs left and it was 3 3. Then my friend was on the other team and he shot and missed so I get the ball and dribble to the other net. Then I shot and made the wining goal and there was one second left. Then my whole team dog piled on me.
ReplyDeleteI do not follow the Raptors because my TV in my room does not have cable and my dad is always watching movies on our TV in the livingroom. And my dad tells us to go outside. Then me and my bother say You go outside, you're just watching movies.
I happy that the Oilers made it to the playoffs because I never watch the games but because they made the playoffs I watch the games because I want them to win. And because my mom works at Rogers Place. This Easter she got me and my brother an Oilers t-shirt and my sister a pink jersey with no name. My mom got my sister and bother an Oilers sweater because I didn't get one because my mom thought she got me one. But she is getting me on on Thursday because the game is at Rogers Place so she said I'm able to get it Thursday because she is working at the game.

I dont like like watching or playing basketball but I still like it for some reason. I probably like it because I used to play it in grade three. I stopped playing because winter came and then I forgot about it.

I think its great that the Edmonton Oilers made the play offs because they have not made the play offs in so long. I think the orange crush campaign is stupid because that is already a pop. I think they should make a name that is not already something.

I think basketball is very cool and fun because it has my two favourite sports in one. Running and shooting balls around. But not my 3rd favorite thing: being lazy/ I sure do that a lot. That is why.

I think the orange crush is just people trying to make money. They don`t really care. About the playoffs - that took them long enough time to do something. It took them more then a century but it is pretty exciting. They need to be good if they dont want to get fired. But McDavid is okay but I dont want to be mean. I dont know how hard it is to play hockey.

I love basketball. It`s my favorite sport of all time because I get to play with my friends. But at my old school none of them knew how to play so I got really frustrated with them because they would bring their own ball and not know how to play. They would double dribble.
ReplyDeleteI do not follow the Toronto Raptors because I got better things to do. I follow the Edmonton Eskimos. I went to one of their games in winter last year. We stayed for an hour and left and watched the other two hours of the game on TV.
I think every one is to into the game but I like to play just not watch because it takes up my time. I rather watch my favorite YouTube person but if i got invites I. would go but i would have to pay another hundred dollars for the food.
