I love mythical beasts. I got into them when my brother borrowed a book series called Beast Quest. It’s one of my favourite book series.
Beast Quest is about a kingdom that is in trouble by an evil wizard casting spells on beasts that are supposed to help the land, but the spell makes them bad. It has been awhile since I’ve read the first book but I think a boy has to become a knight (or something like that). There are six beasts he needs to free, and someone will help him, but you have to read the book to find out. You can find them at the Edmonton Public Library or at the Strathcona County library.
My favourite mythical beast is the dragon. I don’t have a favourite type of dragon, so I read lots of dragon books. Actually, I am only on one series and on the second book. The series is called Wings of Fire.
I only know a few mythical beasts. Here is a list:
- Dragon (obviously)
- Sea serpent
- Cyclops
- Abominable Snowman
- Phoenix
- Unicorn and Pegasus.

I think mythical beasts are cool because most of them have wings which means instead of driving or walking you can fly. I also think they are good brcause they make you think they're nice and then at the end they eat you.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite mythical beast is the dragon because it can fly and if you go camping instead of buying a fire lighter the dragon would do it but first you nead to fill it up with gasoline.
I think fantasy books are nice because they have mythical beasts and they have pictures of them. My favourite book is, I don't know what my favourite book is because I've never finished a book.

I think that mythical beasts are kind of wonderful. It's just unicorns and Pegasus are a little too childish for me but when I was a kid I used to like it. I do not believe in some mythical creatures but a dinosaur I believe because they're old and there are fossils lying out there that no scientists have found.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite mythical beasts are Godzilla, King Kong, phoenix, griffin and more mythical beasts that I cannot remember. I like them because Godzilla is a god and is huge, King Kong is a giant gorilla that is actually nice. A phoenix breathes fire so if I have a phoenix it can breathe out fire and cook my burgers or steaks for me and a griffin is a half lion and half eagle.
I think fantasy books are delightful but I am a more mystery type of person because I love suspense and mysteries, it just makes me want to read more! My favourite genre is a graphic novel because some has fantasies, mysteries and other topics.

I think mythical beasts are silly because a lizard that breathes fire doesn't make sense. I do not think lizards have the fire breathing skill. Mythical beasts are dumb.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite mythical beast is the sea serpent because I always wanted one to give my a ride when I was in Cuba. My least favorite one is the unicorn because I would not trust a horse that wears makeup.
I think fantasy books are silly because they go too far like a Pegasus picking you up and dropping you on a dragon too far. My favorite book is Tesla's Attic series. I am waiting for the next one to come out because it has good suspense.

I do enjoy mythical beasts because I like it when people tell me stories or creatures that's real. But creatures that are like humans and walk like humans, for example Big foot. I don't get him, does he have big feet? I heard he's hairy but they don't say anything about that.
ReplyDeleteI do believe unicorns and Pegasus because all you have to do is grab a sparkaly unicorn horn and, for the Pegasus you can grab fairy wings and a horn. You have a unicorn and a Pegasus.
I like any kind of books because they're so many books in the world and some of the books are fake, so when you realize it's fake your dreams will be gone.

I don't really know what mythical beasts are, so I don't really give them much thought! I don't have a favorite beast, I like princesses much better. My favorite books to read are about animals and princesses!

I like a couple of of mythical beasts like the Abominable Snowman. I don't know why I like him I think it's because I saw a one-sie of it and decided that was my Halloween costume one year. I have also believed at times that Big Foot was real but now I do not believe in him right now.

I think fantasy books are good at least I like them. I have never even heard of Wings Of Fire or Beast Quest. My favourite book series is Tom Gates by Liz Pichon.

ReplyDeleteI know the mermaid who sleeps on a waterbed, the Bigfoot who has apparently has a big foot. I also know dragons and Godzilla. Another mythical beast I know is a unicorn. I like dragons who breathe fire and mermaids that has beautiful fins.
I don't like fantasy books but I like romance, suspense and comic books. My favourite books are Rain Reign, Ghost, Smile and Sisters.

I don't really know much about mythical beasts. There is only one beast I know really know. I know the phoenix. In Russia the phoenix, it sounds like Gar ptixa. Gar is Hot and ptixa is bird, so it is just flammable bird. I will explain to you how it looks like. The bird is as big as the size of an adult. Its wings are made from fire. It shines in the night as bright as the sun, but it is not hot. It is called Hot Bird because its wings are made from fire. Of course I don't believe in phoenixes, but I do read stories about them. I'm going to tell you some of a story with a phoenix. I don't remember much about it because it is a very long story. A king had three sons. The youngest son was the most nicest man of all of them. One day the apples on the apple tree started disappearing! All three sons agreed with catching the thief. The two brothers were watching at the tree, but then they both fell asleep. Then the thief landed on the tree. The youngest son saw it....

I don't really like mythical beasts. They're okay to think of sometimes, but not all the time. My sister believes in anything I say. It comes in handy because I once told her that Obama met a mermaid and kept it as a pet. She was very surprised. I feel like Santa, the tooth fairy, and the Easter bunny ate mythical creatures or beasts because they're not real. The Easter bunny would especially be a beast because last year, me and my sister went to the community hall for an egg hunt. My sister found 17 chocolate eggs, and 6 stickers, plus four ring pops. And guess what I found? I found 2 chocolate eggs and 1 piece of blank paper. Easter has never been good for me.

I'm not such a fan of fantasy books. I'd perfer comedy books or Marvel comic books.

I don't think fantasy books are that good. I prefer graphic novels just because i am a fan of comics. By the way it DOES matter which one I'm reading. I will ALWAYS read books by Raina Telgimiar. I don't know what is wrong with me because I will NOT read a Captain Underpants book. SO THERE!

Mythical beasts are kind of scary. I have bad dreams about them. I only like Godzilla and King Kong. I watch them over and over and over. I love all of the movies that I've watch so far.

I like fantasy books because there is lots of action but I don't really like reading that much. Even though I would rather pick to get my dad's phone and tell Siri to read me a story.

Fantasy books are terrible. They're not real. That's my perspective. Only some are real like I would say dragons are real, Godzilla is real. I don't think much are real.

I love mythical beasts. They are so amazing. I would love to see a unicorn one day. I also hope I might see a ogopogo that"s a type of sea monster. Actually I have seen a sea monster. They aren't harmful, they don't kill people. I love sea monsters.

I love fantasy books, especially griffins. They are beautiful too. I wonder if I breed a unicorn and a griffin I would call it a gripficorn because that sounds really really really CUTE. I hope one day I get to make a griphicorn. So CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

I think mythical beasts are so cool because they can be what ever you want. Like the beast that will run your bath for you or do your nails and pick your clothes out and clean your house. Maybe he can give your dad money so he is not so cheap.

I like some types of mythical beasts. Most are in video games like unicorns. They are not the greatest but I like dragons. But I do not like all dragons. Like friendly, for example, nice dragon - not the biggest fan. I like phoenixes which are cool.

I don't believe in mythical creatures except for the mermaid because it's been proven to be real. I'm still sceptical because there is a lot of criticism about that. Some people say it's cropped together with pictures, different sounds and videos.
ReplyDeleteI don't like fantasy books because if you are going to read, you might as well be learning from it instead of hiding yourself from the real world. All you're doing is hiding all your feelings in a book that's not real and in my opinion I think the other is just mean because they're teaching kids to do things that they can't do.

I've honestly never really heard about mythical beasts/creatures! I think they are gorgeous though. Especially Pegasus/unicorn, they are so pretty and magical, and... well... mythical! I wonder what it's like to be able to have wings and fly? I guess I will have to look into mythical creatures some more!

I think fantasy is... just bleh. Sorry! Fantasy lovers! I'm just more into the idea of paranormal romance. If you don't know what I mean, I mean like zombies and vampire, innnnnnnn a romance story. I am a very big fan of fantasy, paranormal and romance movies, or all three. I guess I just like paranormal and romance in books. Sorry fantasy.
