I love and have always loved the last week of school. My favourite part of the last week of school is that it is almost over. But I also like that we get to celebrate the end. I would never have thought that you would get to celebrate the last day of school because we go here to learn, not to party. I am not sure why this happens. At my old school we always had a little party with food and a water fight. For this year, it does not matter if we have a party but I would gladly participate if we did.
It is nice to get a break from learning at school. We get two months holiday and I think that’s the perfect amount of time.

I think it is a nice way to say goodbye to all the people who are leaving! (Including me) And with all the fun activities, everyone should enjoy the last week of school! It would kind of be a bummer if we had to work the rest of the year, so, I'm thankful we get to enjoy it this way:)

My plans for the summer are to spend it with my best friend, Kati! We plan to have week long sleep-overs, with lots of fun packed in for the summer! I'm super excited!

I absolutely LOVE the last week of school. Except that we have a ton of assemblies, and sport stuff. But I still love it.
ReplyDeleteI think two months off is the right amount of time. I am working on a summer math book where everyday I do one page of math that we have learned this year because we always forget our math at the start of the year.
We are going to Kelowna and staying in our very own condo. That way we can make our own food (because my parents don't like spending a lot of money) we will have our own pool (because we do not have one at home) And I am super excited because I will be seeing my friends who live in Reno, Nevada, America?

We should do way more work instead of fun days because I like to work. I do like some of the things that we have in the end of the week. I especially love the electronic day, although I have never been allowed to bring an electronic besides this year. My second favourite part is the year end assembly because I can watch a video on a big screen, and relax.
ReplyDeleteI think we should only have one month of school vacation because that way, we are much more smarter when we get back. But another thing is, people in stores would have to order shipments of school supplies one month earlier.
I have a lot of plans for summer this year. We are going to go to Calgary and Britsh Columbia for a while. Then we will come back and go school supply shopping. (which is my FAVOURITE time of they year!) We also have to make my brother behave and be quiet because he will be entering preschool ths year. I can't wait until he does because I can walk him to school, and I can't wait see him in cute little ovaralls.

I think the last week of school is really good because you can do anything you want like soccer and get suspended two days before school ends so you get two days extra for summer vacation. Also you do not have to listen to your teacher any more unless your teacher wants to go to the end of the year (The BIG HAM).

I LOVE the last WEEK of SCHOOL!!! Because you get fun days and there is no SCHOOLWORK that you have to do! Also I like it when we have some fun things because everyday we always get the same boring subjects (no offence). Sometimes school can be so hard like when you get into fights, you get hurt or injured, some people make fun of you, some people are mean, and hard schoolwork, so I would LOVE to have a break from all those dramas!
ReplyDeleteI think that two months of school is not ENOUGH! I would like a summer that is 10 MONTHS just like school and then we come back at September. Or five months would be okay. Once you're enjoying your summer you do not want to go back to school! Although sometimes at the last days of school its kind of sad because I'm going miss my friends for two months or if you move to a different school.
My summer plans are going out with my family and do fun stuff with them. I'm also going to shop until I drop, play with my phone and video games, go outside and play, swim, go on a trip, and I'm also going to Elk Island National Park for Canada Day! I'm also excited about the fun things we're going to do at 150 CANADA CELEBRATION and SUMMER FUN THINGS!!

I LOVE the last week of school but this year I will only be here for one of the days. The other three days I will be on a plane going to my country. I am very sad that I can't be here for the last few days of school but I think seeing my grandma and grandpa after three years and more is way better.

I am doing nothing for summer. Just kidding I have A LOT planned! I am going to my country which takes like three days and a half to get there and back. The funny thing is that my uncle and his wife are going to surprise my grandma and grandpa. They are going to meet us in our second stop in Amsterdam.

I think the last week of school is excellent. We do work until the end which is amazing. We always had a party in the past which was good but we learn less which is bad because we want to actually get a job, not party for the rest of your life.

I love the last week of school because we get to do so much fun stuff like we normally have two track meets. One is at our school and one is at a different track called Foote Field. Also my teacher normally lets us have our electronics for the morning and then we do the Talent Show and farewell to the grade sixes before they go to junior high.
ReplyDeleteI think we have just enough time for summer. It is awesome to have two months off school. I have the best time during summer. The only thing I don't really like is all the mosquitoes and the hot sun.
Unlike most summers I have plans this time. My family and I are going to Calgary to ride on a track called Skyline Luge. It's a track where you get a little cart and you get to ride head first downhill a 645.ft track. It sounds really fun and I can't wait. We also might go to Vancouver Island to visit my dad's friend (ex girlfriend) but they're still really good friends. They only broke up because they don't like long distance relationships.

I think that we have lots of fun on the last day of school and it's perfect. I even think that we have too much fun. I think that having fun all week long will make me a sloth. (since you have to be lazy.) Well it is hard to tell. We are just lazy because we will run and do lots of activities. It would easier to say that no school kind of lazy. I think that king of lazy is too much. Right? You probably think that oh who cares, I even want more fun. I call it waste of time. There is one event that I am REALLY excited for. Track meet. One of the event I am really good at is long jumps.

It is just that I am going to Russia for a month and sadly my grandparents are going to teach me grade 8-10 science and math. :( I thought that I would be in spring break having fun, I am actually in school.

I love the last week of school but the bad part is you might not to get to be with your friends. I would love it because we get to do track meet and fun stuff. We get to go swimming and it is for two hours and I love it.

I have lots of summer plans. I love summer because it is my birthday and we get to go camping and go to B.C. Still too short but I'll deal with it. I just want to have school break. The bad part is I might go to a camp. It's so scary.

ReplyDeleteI think the two months of summer break is not enough. We deserve six months of school and six months of summer break. The teachers are getting paid to sit around and chat about boring subjects like Health and Social. We need a break, a six month break.

ReplyDeleteI think summer vacation is not long enough at all. It should be at least three months long. Two months is not long enough at all because there's not enough time to do everything I want to do on summer vacation.
This year my family is not going to as much places. We are going to this amusement park in Sand Point, Idaho. But my family also signed me up for a couple camps. She signed me up for three different camps.

ReplyDeleteMy summer plan is to stay home, play video games and maybe go to our lake. That is three hours away and on the way there we have snacks like ice cream and pepperoni and there we might go on a boat ride and water skiing.
I think that summer break is too short. We should have five months instead of two and sometimes when I come back to school I forget a lot of stuff. Sometimes I forget my friends but if I have their number so I can call them over the summer.
