Christmas holidays for me is to celebrate it - to be with my family, be thankful, give presents but most of all celebrate Jesus’ birth. We must give gifts to show how God gave us the gift of Jesus and Christmas just gives you an intense warm feeling in your heart when you can celebrate it with family and friends.
We know the reason we have to celebrate spirit of Christmas because of Jesus’ birthday and why we give gifts is because three wise men brought Jesus three gifts. We have the star on our Christmas tree because the wise men followed the star to find Jesus. This is the reason why the Christmas season is important to me and my family to celebrate.
It’s a wonderful holiday. If you don’t like it don’t celebrate it. For me this holiday of Christmas gives me more excitement because this is my very first time to celebrate not in my country. I’m here in the cold country of Canada this season.

ReplyDeleteA tradition in my family is on Christmas day my mom dad and me go to my grandmas house where we meet all of my cousins, my aunts, uncles, every one! We eat an amazing Christmas dinner an then...PRESENT TIME!
I personally like giving WAY more then receiving. When I give I get this warm happy feeling in me and I try to imagine what that person's reaction will be like. Getting presents is of course nice, but giving is more important than receiving to me.

My thoughts on Christmas had barely ever changed in my ten years of life. I am always waiting for Christmas to come over and over and when it comes I am very happy and excited for this time to come.I also love that I dont have to go to school because of the winter break. It makes things more fun for a change. And when you have your family all together it is really fun.
ReplyDeleteSome traditions that my family has are we have a big dinner that includes turkey, carrots, potatoes and other yummy foods. We also hang out with all our family members who live in Canada, like my uncle and almost aunt. We also read the Night before Christmas on Christmas eve. We usally watch movies on Christmas. It is very fun because the family is together to celebrate a very specail day. We also get to open one gift from the secert Santa on Christmas Eve.
I would think for me I like receiving better. Giving makes you feel good but I can't turn down on receiving anything that I was given for a present. For Christmas I only want Fifa Street and Fifa 18 and other soccer equipment because I only like soccer because it's my favourite sport and thing to do.

I think that Christmas is a good holiday to spend time with you family but I think the presents under the tree is the best part about Christmas and I can't wait for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMy family does the same thing almost every family does, we go to the tree to open presents and later at about 7:00 we eat Christmas dinner.
Both giving and receiving is good but giving is more important than receiving but I personally I like getting presents instead of giving them away.

ReplyDeleteMy family's tradition is opening presents first and it is almost a normal day but we always have supper with my cousins on my dad's side of the family (except 2016).
I think both giving and receiving is nice (mainly because I get Littlest Pet Shop Heaven)!but I think giving is just as good as receiving!
Every Christmas we open presents first thing when we wake up and when we go to my cousin's house it is the second thing we do.

I think I like giving and receiving the same. For Christmas I am pretty sure I want a VR for Christmas and a game called PlayStation Worlds because I checked on YouTube and it looks awseome.

I love Christmas! It is actually my most favourite holiday. I actually like giving better. I am not trying to sound nice but it is fun when you get to find really cool things for them but I mean receiving is pretty fun too.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts on Christmas are good thoughts but I feel bad because some people don't get to celebrate Christmas like they would like to.
Some traditions my family have - well part of it is have chilli and watch White Christmas but with my dad we do nothing. We usually get something we want, something to wear, something we need and something to read and something from their siblings.
I like both giving and receiving and I really don't know why.

I love Xmas because I get to spend time with my family and there's no school. I like the food because of the turkey. I like my mom's turkey the best. I always help my mom cook well I always help with that.
ReplyDeleteThe traditions we do is when every one is up stairs in the morning we open present then in the night we open more presents at my mom's parents house. At night when we are eating, every one has to take one minute to say what we are thankful for.
I like giving and receiving the same because I get presents from people and I give presents to people but last year I gave presents to people more than people gave to me. I don't why I like them the same.
I really just want clothing and I basketball and a net and soccer stuff.

I love Christmas but I don't think this Jesus stuff is real other than that I think that Christmas is FUN!!! but the large amount of religion is silly and a way to waste your weekends on Sundays.
ReplyDeleteMy family doesn't have a really big tradition. Presents just appear on our couch on December the 25th we do that and then fly away to a country in the Caribbean. We never found pirates though ☠.
I think receiving is the best. I get the presents from the dollar store. I look for the 50¢ items. I prefer receiving because it has no cost on me. I like to save my money ��

ReplyDeleteWhat my family does on Christmas: my family opens gift in the morning and then we have food in the morning and then I go to my dad's dad's house to open more gifts and then have lunch and go back home.
What I think of giving and receiving: O like receiving more because I do not have to give more money as it is and I don’t usually have a lot of money for because I buy a lot of toys.

I think Christmas is a time to give and a family time. I love it because you get presents and when you get up at 3:00 AM and see if you get presents or not. I think it is a good time in the year.
ReplyDeleteAt Christmas my family all gets up at 7:00 AM except me but I can't open them. We open our presents at Christmas day and we invite over our family, like our aunts and uncles. We all eat diner and we set up a tree five days before Christmas.
I think receiving is better then giving because you get stuff that is awesome and you do not need to pay.

I love Christmas but my family doesn't really celebrate Christmas but my family is trying to celebrate because they want us to enjoy. Sometimes we sleep in our living room on Christmas Eve so that we can be together.

Christmas for me is to celebrate it with my family and my mom's friends. We celebrate it in our house. We give some presents to each other just like Jesus's birth and his family is happy to have him in their family just like a gift.
