Sometime in March, our class has been invited to attend ICE School. ICE School is a program where students learn for a week in a classroom at Rogers Place, where the Edmonton Oilers play. Only 22 classes out of all the classes in Edmonton and its surrounding areas get a chance to attend every year so this opportunity is extremely special.
The students are excited to go and are already asking who and what they will see during our week there. Next month, a representative from ICE School will visit our classroom and discuss more with the students about the types of activities that they will be participating in as well as some of the rules and etiquette that they will need to remember.
Having never attended one of these sessions, I myself am eager to get over there and learn many things. Maybe we'll get a chance to see some hockey players, like Connor McDavid. Wouldn't it be great if we could visit their dressing room? Maybe we'll have to figure out the number of chairs in the arena by doing laps up and down the stairs while counting. That would be some Phys. Ed. class, wouldn't it?

I'm kind of excited to go to Ice school. Not a big fan of hockey but that's okay! I want to learn more about it but I have to wait till October. I want to run around and count the chairs. It would be fun.
ReplyDeleteI really hope we can go skating there. I've never skated before a lot but I think it's fun! Counting chairs would be amazing for Phys. Ed. It would be good for our Data Analysis in math. I think meeting the hockey players would be cool. Like maybe an autograph or hand shake!

I feel super excited to be able to go to ICE school. I think that it will be an experience worth while remembering. I hope that I will be fortunate enough to meet one of the Oilers! I wonder what my instructor's name will be?

I am really excited for Ice school because I will learn lots of different stuff that I don't know yet. We even got ice books for writing stuff about ice school.

I am so excited because we are going to Ice school. Our teacher, The Big Ham is going with us. We are going to be there one week. Maybe we are going to see the Oilers dressing room.

I can't wait for ICE school in March for one week. But we do not get to spend the night at Rogers Place. I can't wait to explore Rogers Place. I hope we get to skate on the Oilers rink. I hope my classroom gets to see Connor McDavid and all of the other Oilers players. I wish that we can visit the Oilers dressing room.

I think going to Ice school is amazing because I never go to Rogers Place and we are one of the few classes. I am so happy to go to Ice school and I hope we can see some hockey players. We are going to do one week and I hope we can see the dressing room.

I think that going to the Ice School is exciting because I've never gone to the Ice School. Also we get to explore what is inside it and learn new things about it.
