I am here to talk about bullying.
Bullying is a really bad thing to do. You should never bully. You can go to jail for bullying. Do you want to go to jail for bullying?
I am bullied and it is not fun. If you are being told that you’re ugly and that nobody likes you and you will never have friends repeatedly you are most likely being bullied. Or if people are kicking you and punching you repeatedly you are also being bullied.
If you are being bullied you have to tell somebody or your parent that you are being bullied.
I think that we should teach kids at a young age that bullying is bad. I was taught at a young age that bullying is bad.
If you are bullied do not listen to them you are perfect.

ReplyDeleteTurtle lover, I agree that bullying can be either verbal or physical. I hope you are following your own good advice and letting your teacher know how you are feeling. Or perhaps it is something you could talk about in circle. The purpose of circle is to give students a safe place to talk about conflicts they are involved in and to resolve the situation.
I hope you and all the other students know that they are amazing, valuable people and that no one has the right to make them feel less than that.

I hate bullying. Me? i have a bully. I wont say any names but hes constantly causing me both emotional pain and normal pain.

And at a young age, you SHOULD have been taught that bullying is B-A-D!! Why should you be kicked and punched when you are just a kid? That is NOT right... AT ALL.
I don't anyone who has been bullied, but if I had, this is what I would have done. If I saw my friend being bullied, I would have walked up to the bully and told him it was mean and rude. Then, if he started to bully me, I would tell a parent or a teacher at school, because they CAN help you!!!
So in other words, DO NOT BULLY ANYONE!!!

Bullying is a bad thing also but not always. It does hurt you thats for sure but not always. Unless you kill someone you can not go to jail thats for sure.

After being bullied I normally go and tell a adult. Thats what I recomend doing. But thats just me.

In the first place you can’t go to jail for bullying when you're in elementary or junior high. Plus the only way to go to jail by bullying is by black mailing or something like that. So personally I don’t agree with that. I don’t like to bully or watch people bully because that’s just mean and pointless when TURTAL LOVER said that. Well and if people punch you and kick you I think you really should tell a adult. But when you do tell the adult who did it so other people in your class or at home don’t get in trouble that happened to over class a lot last year in grade 5.

But if I saw one of my friends getting bullied
I would either one phone someone on my cell(when I get one) and two go to the nearest house and get some help.

I don't bully people. I have called people names but only a few times but them I end up saying sorry. I think it's mean to bully and people shouldn't bully. When I was little I got taught the "Golden Rule". Always treat others you want to be treated!

Bullying is bad !! I get bullied too but I am one of those people who bully. I have even bullied you a couple of times. I don't like getting bullied but I bully to which makes me look like a bad person. But people who are bullies don't always get in trouble. I am one of those people who always get in trouble for stuff and I am one of those people who lie and then I get in even more trouble. So I hope you take turtle lovers advice.

All right, first of all, how can you get arrested for bullying, unless it's off grounds, and a cop see's you, and you're 28 and the kids 5, but I still get the jist of it.
ReplyDeleteBut hold on, one more thing, if i'm getting punched and kicked repeatedly, I think I'd know that I'm being bullied, imagine if some kid just came home and read your blog, it's not like he'd say "he's a bully, I thought he was trying to give me a teddy bear".
But because my teacher made me write a paragraph on what I'd do if I saw someone being bullied, well, I'd probably tell a teacher or adult, or I'd get in there and stop it, it depends on who's the victim and who's the bully.

Bullying really sucks. I know, I used to bully some kids at my old school. Not very much mind you, but a little bit. I hate geting bullied myself. It doesn't matter if it is physicaly or oraly. It still hurts to get bullied. The old saying insn't true.

Yes you're right bullying is bad and if somebody has done that they should be ashamed of themselves. It is wrong and I am saying this even though I've never been bullied. Once I bullied a kid and he cried. If somebody bullies you then you will know how you someone feels when you bully them so my word is do not bully anyone even if your bigger than them.

I as other have to say that it depends on the bullying, if the person is serverly injured then yes the bully will have to get charged or sent to prison. But if its just calling names or ruining their books or something like that you can't go to jail. You still can get in to a heap of trouble. Which doesn't change anything about bullying being right it's still very wrong. I think that no one should get bullied ever again in any kind of school.

You really can't go to jail if you are bullying. But it is very mean to bully. You can hurt a lot of people by hitting. Now if you killed someone than that is different and if you do this you will maybe go to jail if the copes find you. But with bullying you won't go to jail.

ReplyDeleteI get called a name here and there, but most of the time, the person is just kidding. Other times, whenever someone calls me a name,it is minor and I don't really get mad or anything.
But I do see a lot of people get bullied. Most of the bullying that I see is at school when a bunch of grade 3s are mad at each other and they are pushing and shoving. I don't see a lot of the older kids bullying each other. They call each other names, but they're just joking. I still think that people shouldn't call names at all because sometimes people take things very seriously and can be offended easily.

I also think bullying is very wrong. There are bullying in this school but if it happens you have to go to a teacher pronto. If the bully is faster than you, whatever, try. It happened to me before. His name is Andrew and he doesn’t come here anymore. He strangled me and then punted me to the ground and then stared to kick me. Believe it or not but I was crying and struggling because I thought I was bleeding. I was a bit. Then I punched him back. Then we got a D.T. and we got to be best friends.

I kind of agree with turtle lover, no one is perfect and every one is ugly on the inside. Here how I agree with turtle lover I've been bullied a lot in my life, I've been bullied by my sister, my sister and my friends in China. It's not very fun. But you get use to it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I do to my sister when she bullies me, I bully her but when i was little I just black mail her by saying " I'll tell mom " I say my mom because she's like the boss. My dad here is like kind and just talks to us but my mom when we were in china she would whip us with a clothes hanger. So really I was getting bullied but the scary girls. But they are the scariest!!! So what you're going through right now is like a birthday!!!

I used to get bullied by a boy named JOE. Joe was the biggest bully ever. but I told my dad (I never tell but when a 15 year old kid is punching and kicking me and my little brother I have no choice.) We went to his mother and the talked for five minutes then she slammed the door in our face. But I learned to ignore it though.

I think that bullying is just so wrong.
ReplyDeleteTrust me on this, if you are being bulled you should call the help phone or just talk to someone. And if your bully has threatened to kill you, you have to get help, also never lose hope. I have heard of people who have hurt and even killed themselves because they had lost hope.
And if you are the bully, you should just be ashamed of yourself, all the pain you have caused just because the person you are bullying is just different, is horrible and you should stop bullying TODAY!!!!
I have been bulled before and I didn't do anything to stop it, so don't do the mistake I did and do something about it today.

Bullying is bad. Punching,kicking,namecalling are some formes of bulling. I fuigure each school has atleast one bully.Some bullys bully in groups. A bully group probaly has 4 or 5 bullys.

Remember also, that bullying is not always about calling names or hitting. There are times that bullying can be an act of purposely ignoring a person. Excluding them when they don't need to be or talking behind their backs.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I have also seen in the halls a few times where a few students were talking about one of the kids in class. They were walking right ahead of me, not paying attention to who was around them. Just because the child they were laughing at wasn't there, doesn't mean that they weren't showing bully behaviors. The child COULD HAVE been there, they wouldn't have known. How hurt would you be if someone was walking ahead of you and calling you names, thinking you couldn't hear it?
I spoke up to those kids, let them know that if they really want to say things like that, they should definitely make sure that no one hears it.
Accepting others is hard to do sometimes, but it really is easier to just be nice than to deal with the consequences of being mean.
You guys are all saying that bullying is a REALLY bad thing, but in it all, everyone keeps on doing it. Sometimes it accidentally slips out if you're trying to be cool or funny or something but some people really need to know where to stop. You can really hurt someones feelings or hurt them physically without even knowing you're doing any harm. So you may not know you're doing it, but you're becoming a really mean bully. And before you say something even the slightest bit sarcastic, just think to yourself, how would you feel if they said or did that to you?
ReplyDeleteI can give you one piece of VERY good advice; ALWAYS just take the high road (ignore what they say/ don't say anything mean/back.
If you see anyone bullying someone or being bullied, than try to stand up for whoever is being bullied, but also make sure that you do not bully him/her that is the bully, and also don't get hurt or bullied in the process.

I agree that bullying isnt cool. I think some people do it just to be more liked but they are NOT!! I think that bullying is not only using bad language and hurting people but also like someone else said leaving people left out. Also secrets, are like bullying. Most of the time people will think its about them and then feel sad. This happens to everyone and I think it should stop.
