We went to the Waste Management Centre for a field trip. The Big HAM gave us a camera to take pictures. I saw a lot of garbage. In that one room there was a lot of garbage and the leader said all that garbage in that room is in one day or a half a day.
I saw two people taking out recyclable things from the conveyor belt. I saw lot of things like a bed and a lot of microwaves.
Then we went in a building and we went in a room. It was a theater and a big screen.

Yes I have been to the Waste Management Center once but my camera did not work so I could take no pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part was the Movie Theater the video we watched was ok but if it was about dogs it would have been better.
In science we (the grade fours)are doing a science presentation of the Waste Management Center. I am on the decorating part and I think I am doing very good.

Yes I have been to the Waste management centre. Before I thought it would smell a little bit but only at one part it smelt but it did not smell alot.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part was the was seeing where all the trash go's. For alot of people they thought the field trip was boring because they did not get to see what they hoped for.

I have been to the Waste Management Centre only once. I thought it was a nice place to go. When I went there I got a camera. I took a lot of pictures ,I think that I took 65 pictures. We had to be really careful about where you put them.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part about the Waste Management Centre is the recycling centre. It was called the Materials Recovery Centre or MRF for short. I liked that it did not stink. All the other building are really smelly. It looked like a new building too.
We are doing a Google presentation. We need to do eight slides. I am almost done my presentation. I am sad because I only need 8 pictures. All my hard work is for nothing. I guess it was not that much work.

Yes I have gone to the Waste Management Centre Candygirl. I have got to say it is very intreasting there but it does smell. When I went I got a camera to take lots of pictures.

We wear being silly on our way to school and there. My favourite part is when we watch the movie. I took lots of pictures in the movie.

Yes I have been to the Waste Management Centre before. I think the WMC is an amazing place. It is where all the things Edmonton throws out goes once it is picked up by the dump truck. At the WMC I took 69 pictures with the camera the big Ham lent us. I took some really nice pictures. I probably took like 10 pictures of friends. I have a few pictures of each place and building we went to.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of the whole field trip was .....hmmmm let me think I don't have a favourite part, but my 2 favourite parts were the MRF and IPTF. The reason they are my favourite is because in the MRF I liked seeing the stuff. and also in the IPTF it was interesting to see all the stuff that Edmonton throws out.
On my google presentation I so far have 5 slides. I choose some pictures and wrote a paragraph for each slide. We have to do 8 slides minimum, we can do more if we want but we only have to 8. I plan to do an extra slide with pictures of the people who went with me.

It was cool to use the cameras. I have seen one those cameras before. But they were all fast out of battery. My was like going out ever second. It was so weird.

In the geep there are a lot of computers and microwaves. The mrf has all the recyclable things. They take all the recyclable and sort them. I also like learn all about all the things garbage goes through.
My presentation is going great. I have lots on it. I love doing presentation in class. It is so fun. I think that it is a lot more easier to do on a computer.

I've been to the Waste Management Centre it was really cool we saw lot's of t.v.'s , X-Box's and Wii's. We saw lots of copper, gold, silver and circuit boards.
ReplyDeleteWe saw lot's trash like milk jug's, juice bottle's, cardboard, paper, cereal and wrapper's.
My favourite part was I wasn't at school and we saw crane's and saw a video and it smelled horrible outside.

I went on that field trip it was so fun. I loved that we got to use camera that was water proof I had so much fun. I've never used a camera but it was fun.
