River Monsters

I really like the show called River Monsters. Although there have been a lot of blog posts involving T.V but I think that this will be the last one and I shall be the one to end it.

River Monsters (for the rest of the blog I will call it RM for short) is a show that is rated PG-13 because of all the blood guts and gore from the fish attacks. It is a very violent/intense show for a Discovery Channel show. Lots of mystery appears in lots of episodes for some reason.

Me and skate4life watched an episode of RM recently ware Jeremy Wyde (the old man guy) goes to the Amazon Jungle and tries to find the Anjumara A.K.A wolf fish A.K.A the deadliest fish in South America. It is the most intense episode( because it is the season finale) where people are struck by lightning, dogs are ripped apart by fish, Wolf Fish attacks on primates birds and humans, lost in the amazon and many more intense stuff.

The other episode that really appeals to me is called “Flesh Ripper” where a bunch of Longfin Eels attack scobodivers. There is not much blood in this episode so I don’t know why I think its cool, maybe it just awesome. I do not know why they call it flesh ripper because there is barely any blood.

Another episode that was worth watching is chainsaw predator the only reason that isn't first is because of the high blood level. I swear that episode is extremely graphic and ridiculously gory clips of attacks. The chainsaw predator is a fish that has a nose that looks like a chainsaw. It even shows killings (and not by fish or animals) (well humans are animals BUT YOU GET THE POINT!!!!!!!!) and I find it disturbing and gross.

I have seen this one episode of River Monsters where the old guy goes to Japan to find the legendary Caper that snatches children to the deep parts of the lake. The Caper turned out to be a Giant Salamander.

This will probably be the last post of the year for me so that means all those hours I spent making blog posts were well spent.   \This next part is by PIG1:)  I love River monsters IT IS AWESOME.  I watch it with my dad.  I like it because of the blood and gore.  My favourite episode is when he tries to hunt a stingray because some little girl gets pulled under water to her watery death:(. It was awesome)  The old guy who fishes is ugly (And weird) :)  One time he fishes with his feet in the water.

I like River Monsters. Would you like it? Have you seen it? Would you like to?

  1. I love that show. It is my second favourite tv show. My favourite show is called Redneck Fishing. It is where they go to a pond that has huge fish and they pull down their pants and they catch fish with their private parts and that is how they go fishing. I think that would really hurt but it looks cool but I'd still rather catch with a fishing pole because you wont get hurt. That is my favourite show.

  2. I have seen River Monsters and I really like the fish that they catch. I saw this episode where this guy caught a stingray and it was so cool.

Another educational show that I saw on Discovery Channel was called How Its Made and I think that it is also a good show. On How Its Made, my favourite episode is where they show you how to build a ski doo and I have seen about every show.

  3. I have seen River Monsters. It is okay but its not my favourite show. I watch it with my dad and that is the only time I watch it. I don't find it gross or disturbing but thats just me.

I like Cake Boss. I love seeing all the cakes and ideas. I like the episode where they make a penguin and people in it not real but fake. In the end they jump in this freezing water and Cake Boss's mom gets so mad at him.

  4. I have not seen River Monsters. I may want to see it, but on the other hand it seems a little creepy. I have heard that there is a lot of blood. I think I should see the show, it seems cool. What I would like to know is how many types of river animals there are, maybe I can learn from that show.

A educational show that I sometimes watch is The Dog Whisperer. At first I didn't want to see the show and my mom showed me one episode and now I really like it. There is this one episode where the dog tries to bite the guy, but he doesn't get bit.

  7. No, I have not seen River Monsters. It sounds interesting, but I would like to see it.

I would like to watch River Monsters, it sounds cool. I would like to see blood, gore, and guts.

My favourite show is Ghost Adventures. It's where
3 people go to the most haunted places. And they stay there all night. and lock the doors from the out of the door. And they try to communicate with
ghost. And in the morning they get out of the place.

  8. I have never watched River Monsters but I have watched Worlds Deadliest Warrior and it is cool. It is about a team of people who take two popular warriors that have never met in a fight and see who would win by taking their weapons and test them on dummies that are 99% accurate to a human body or they simply use a pig corpse. Also I don't have a favourite episode because I like them all and I can handle large amounts of gore.

  13. Great post, boys! Your post wants me to go home and immediately watch this show River Monsters! I don't usually watch bloody or gory shows but if it's true reality, I'm fascinated by those.

A few of you have said that it's on Netflix. Guess what? I have Netflix and may check it out this summer.

One channel that I love to watch is HGTV. I enjoy watching home improvement shows very much, especially Mike Holmes.

I have lots of favorite shows like Thats So Raven or Dog Whisperer or lots of shows. Lots of people have favorite shows.

  16. I have not seen River Monsters. I have not seen it for two reasons: 1. I don't have cable 2. I don't watch , even if I could , bloody and gory shows.

Even though I usually don't watch blood and gore, River Monsters sounds pretty good. But I do watch Discovery Channel with my grandpa when I am sick. I think I would like it though. But I can't watch it. :(

  17. I haven't seen either of these shows. Do they teach you about the creatures, or is it just to show a gory fight scene?

I enjoy nature shows that teach me about what a creature needs to eat, where it needs to live, and how it hunts prey.

Thanks for sharing your blog post!
