Last week we were working on a friendly letter. A friendly letter is one where we write to someone who is popular or who we admire. We tell that person a little bit about ourselves and we ask questions that make us curious.
I wrote to Roger Hargreaves because the Big Ham said if we didn't have anyone to write to. I write to him about my story Little Miss Upset. I think he would like it. She didn't tell us that he was dead. Some people wrote to other popular people such as Katy Perry or Adam Levine.
When we’re done writing, we put many stamps on the envelope. We had to use a lot of stamps because we did not have the right postage. One kid had about 20 stamps! They looked like sticker books.
One part I’m interested is that if they write back a friendly letter. I think that it would be so cool.
We took two or three days to get it finished. I think it was easy for me.

I wrote to Christian Bale. I wrote to him because I like his movies especially the Bat Mans.
ReplyDeleteMy friend had his birth day and we watched all of them. I fell asleep because I started to fall asleep at 9:00 pm and then after three movies it was 1:00 am and we started watching them around 7:00.
I think the stamps are kind of dumb. Because of the postage like they were like oh we might as well add stuff that we don't have to. That's just my opinion though.
I think mine will be sent because everything was right. If I could send another I would send it to the Creatures. They're a YouTube group and I think they're funny. Thats why I would send it to the Creatures.
I think writing letters are cool because they're old and nobody does it anymore.

I wrote Roger Hargreaves and why I wrote to him because I could'nt find some one to write to so I pick him.
ReplyDeleteWhat I said is that we have made a Mr. Men and Little Miss too and that I did one too and that mine was Little Miss Rich.
What I thought about the stamps is that some had too many and some didint have the corect number of stamps.
I dont know if I will get a response. I dont like writing letters because they take a long time.

I wrote to Adam Sandler. I wrote to him because he is very famous and because I just wanted to. Another reason is because I had no other idea to write to and then Adam Sandler just popped into my head. I told him that I am a big fan of him and that I would like to meet him in person sometime in my life. Except for when he is dead. That would just be hideous.
ReplyDeleteSome people with their stamps just went overload. Like barbie said, one person had 20 stamps! I think that the one with 20 stamps will get sent. I'm not 100% sure about it but that's my guess. And I am pretty confident about my letter about being sent.
I don't know if I'm going to get a response or not. Probably not, but if I do, that would be SUPER cool. I would probably get really excited and if I did get a response. And for some reason, I would probably want to go on a sugar rush for some reason. That would make me even more hyper, and that wouldn't be good AT ALL.
I probably wouldn't write to anyone else.
I like writing letters. It's pretty much the same as emailing (because we typed it out). The only difference is that we had to print it out, put it in an envelope and put a whole bunch of stamps on it. I would probably prefer to email them, not just writing out a letter.

I wrote a letter to Adam Levine because I like his singing and his songs. I said on the letter our teacher said we need to write a letter to someone famous. My favorite song of him is Payphone. I hope he writes back to me.
ReplyDeleteI thought the stamps were cheap and I didn't know they have money in them before I saw the stamps. Some were old and some were new. I think they get sent because I put everything right on the letter. I think I will get a response because he's a nice guy.
I would like to write another to Usher because he is excited when he get someone on the Voice.
I think letter writing is a little bit harder and it took not that long and it was a littler bit easy. I think it was half and half.

I wrote to Rihanna because I like her songs and music. I forgot what I said to her because I have not seen it yet. I like her she is a great singer.
ReplyDeleteSomeone in my class had like 20 stamps and I only had 4 stamps on mine. Also another kid had 30 stamps on his. I think they will get sent no matter what. If they had more they will still send it and if you have less they will not send it.
I think that they will respond to some of us.
I would not write another one because it will take long and I will have nothing to write.
I think about writing letters is that it takes to much effort to do it. It cost lots of money to send it. What is the point writing to the person when people made it easier for us to write by email and were not using it. Email is also free. NO money to waste.

I wrote to Deadmau5. I said that I liked his songs and I would like to come to his concert. Deadmau5 has like twenty songs. He uses a computer and other things. In the background there is many games and some are animated such as Minecraft New Super Mario Bros for the NES and many more.
ReplyDeleteI did not think anything about the stamps because mine had only three stamps. Only one other person had three. I think I would get a response because Deadmau5 is in Toronto, Ontario! It would be sent because it has the correct postage on it. I would be amazed if I got a response.
I would do another one because it would be awesome. I would write to Markiplier because he is cool and he may write back. Markiplier makes youtube videos and he likes mustaches! He also likes Cry which is another youtuber and he played Ostrich Island with him in drunk gaming. Drunk gaming is playing games that sound stupid and they are not drunk.
I do not care about writing any letters because they are easy do do.

I hated writing the friendly letter to someone I admired because I admired no one and I had to write to a random person named Roger Hargreaves. I told him about my Mr. Men book called Mr. Evil.
ReplyDeleteI think stamps are cool because I cheated by wetting my finger with tap water and wetting the stamp and I don't think I'll get a response because the guy I'm writing to is dead and how's a dead guy supposed to write a letter; what's he going to do rise from hiss grave to wrie a letter for a kid.
If I knew Eric and Codey's postal code and address I'd write to them and how often do I get to see my cuson's.
I don't think writing letters is smart because if you don't spell a word right then you're going to lock stupid and I know from experience my grandmother's friend wrote a letter and every two words there was something spelled wrong.
I don't think letter will be around in the future. It'll all be done by email. Consider the following: if you write a letter to someone think twice about their personality. What if you wrote a letter and the person didn't read it and just saw you and ripped it in front of your eyes. All that hard work and the dude ripped it without reading it.

I wrote to Ryan Smyth because he retired recently. I wrote to congratulate him on his finale win against the Vancouver Canucks. [4-2]. I hope to see him again.
ReplyDeleteI thought the stamps meant nothing because I only had 3 and they were 51, 48, 1. I don't think some of them will get sent. That person that had 20 stamps actually had 34 stamps! I think mine will get sent and am positive that I will get a response.
If I got the chance I would decline making another one because I hated to write them the first time.
I hated the fact that we wrote the envelope by hand in ALL CAPS {The Big HAM}. Why would we write when people made it easier for us. Using caps lock is much easier. Plus we typed them out first.

I did think the stamps were cool but we did use all of The Jay Bird's` stamps. It was probably a lot money for the Jay Bird to spend but I did enjoy putting all the stamps on because some of them we had to lick and some of them we didn't.
If I wrote to someone else I would write to Katy Perry because I seem to be a big fan of her music.
I like writing emails instead of writing letters because it takes more time writing it on a letter.

ReplyDeleteI love to get a letter in the mail because it tells me the other person cares about me. I like to get emails from friends and family, too, but they don't mean quite the same thing to me.
Were you ever excited to see a letter for you in the mail? I get excited when I see letters from my family and friends.
