What job do you want to have when you grow up?
I know I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up because I want to help animals. I don’t know if I should be a veterinarian or a doctor or even a brain surgeon. The only problem with being a brain surgeon is you can save the person… or just kill them. One wrong move you will kill them plus you will need to go to school for like twelve years!!!
First you need to go to medical school then become a doctor then become a surgeon and then you need to find a doctor who will teach you the proper way of saving a person. And that is why I want to be a veterinarian. That way I can go into the open world sooner and not stay in school until I am like 36!!! Then I will be old and not young anymore.
There is lots of jobs that you do. Most people just have a job just so they can get money. But I am different. I will do it for money but mostly because I want to save peoples lives or animals lives.
A job is also an opportunity to do something with your lives. My mom always tells me do good in school, get good grades so you can get a good job and not work in Mcdonalds mopping the floors.
So what job do you want to have and why? Is it to get money or is it to help someone or save someone?

Right now I don't want to think or talk about what job I want to do at the moment but I do have a few hobbies that I want to do: I would like to be a waitress, a helper at a shoe store, be a cashier at Pita Pit, but most of all I also know that I am going to do this...be a YouTuber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe worst job that I would not like to do is to work at a store like: Walmart, "Stupidstore", or thrift shops like my Grandmas Attic, Value Village, or the Reuse Centre and most of all the bottle depot.
I would like to get money at a job like my dad at the L.R.T. station. But I also want to be happy and have fun at the same time

I would like to be a soccer player. If that does not work I will be a detective. I like to solve problems. I would love to be a goalie in the soccer team. If I am not a goalie I would be a player. I would like to be in the German team or Werder Bremen.

If I score a gole for my team it is so cool or if I save a ball in golei I would get
10000$ if its a good save. If its not so good I would get 1000$ per game if I do not get any bonuses I would get 100000$.

Sometimes I have ambitions, and sometimes I get rid of them. The one that has always survived is being a computer scientist. I like this particular job because I'm good at it (mainly because I started programming when I was five), it enables me to spend time at home or with my family, and for me it's fun. The worst job I have heard of is a doctor because you can do something wrong and kill somebody with the slightest mistake.
I am personally more concerned about enjoying my career as a programmer than earning money for working (although money is one of the many human essentials).

ReplyDeleteFor my main job I'l work at the Firestation because you just sit in a house and then when you hear the emergency call so easy\hard. Sometimes it could be sad because people can die.
In China theres a job where a guy or a gall gets in a bathing suit. Then people cut a hole in the sewer and then you have to swim through poop and pee.
I would probably look at how fun my job is then looking for money.

Oh my goodness... I don't have much of an idea what I want to be when I grow up... I think I would be a novelist or an artist. But I'm not 100% sure what I will be. I would like to be a novelist because I have some very good ideas I want other people to know about. I want to be an artist because art is one of the things I really like! I don't know what kinds of books I would write if I was a novelist. I just love to write! If I would become an artist, I would not like to become a really popular one. I would just like to paint and that's all it would take to make me happy.
ReplyDeleteOne of the worst jobs I've ever seen was done by someone I used to know, she worked, like, 12 different jobs! It must have been stressful! She also used to babysit! She was very hard working! She did it because she was poor and needed to support her family back at home on the other side of the world. She was a cool girl, and L.B.C really liked her!
If I were to become one of the jobs I listed in the first sentences, I would be happy and make money, too! I guess I'll have to wait to find out what my future holds...

They are VERY scary jobs.
I would be concerned about anything. Like, how much money will I get, will I have to teach gross stuff, will I fail and get fired, all of those stuff are scary questions.

My dreams is to open a cafe in Edmonton called Reade's after my last name. And there would only be one in the city, I wound also locate it downtown where my mom works. I would serve drinks such as Katrina's Earl Grey tea because my cousin Katrina loves Earl Gray tea, Duncan's Hot Choco with extra marshmellows because my brother loves hot choco with extra marshmellows, Adults Coffee because my family that are adults love coffee. The treats I would serve are Paincakes ( I'm using that because I can not type my name on here for obisuse reasons) Chocolate crossaints, Cindy's rasin cookies, Devin's Tarts and so on with with treats and drinks. I would also open my cafe and have my cafe connected to candyrulz5's dream a pizza parlour named 8 slices.

The job I would like....................................HOBO no I'm kidding I either want to be a youtuber or a hockey player. I would hope to be a goalie for hockey if not I will keep on searching for spots. If you do not know what Youtuber is it is somebody who makes videos about him or her playing games and once you hit a certain amount of subs you will start earning money for your videos!

I would be more concerned about how much money I make because I have to make sure I worked for something then not getting my moneys worth but another thing is that you do get promoted and demoted and have a chance of losing your job which is the worst job out of all of the jobs!

ReplyDelete1. Working at Google. You may not know this but, there is a place in the world where you can help program Google and add easter eggs, websites, and stuff like that. PLUS! If you work at Google they try to make their work place fun, so theres slides and places where you can take naps and a free cafe and such AMAZING stuff like that!
Another thing that would be cool to be when I grow up is to be a Author! I think I would write either Horror novels, Adventure books, childrens books or something like "Diary of a Wimpy kid"!
My second last thing that I want to be when I grow up is a voice actor for video games and TV.
The last thing I want to be when I grow up is a video game programmer! That, also, would be a very fun job because I would get to help make video games and program characters! I know it would be a lot of work but it would be cool to say something like "I helped program Super Mario Bro's" or " I helped to make Minecraft" or something like that!
The worst job that Iv'e seen/ heard of is a maid. As a kid, I don't really like cleaning so I would HATE to be a maid. Yes you do get payed good money but you would have to clean ALL DAY!
The reason I would like to work at Google or be a programmer is because I would enjoy both AND my mom says programmers make a lot of money. Thats all for now folks! (bugs bunny thing)

I would want to be a paleontologist or a Youtuber or maybe both and showcase all the fossils I find and of course bring them to a museum and I could look at it and be proud that people get to look at my work. I would not be concerned about the money I would only want to do what I am really interested in like a paleontologist and scientist stuff and not about money just about being happy with my life and not be stressed out about money.

When I grow up, I want to be an actor. I've already been in a few plays and I'm in acting class too. Right now, I'm in a play called The Christmas Carol. My mom says I might be getting paid! The only problem is she says if I get paid a lot, then she will make me pay for gas. Well, a least I get to act in front of, like, 700 people! Eeek!
ReplyDeleteI read this book (I forgot what it was called). At the back of it there were some questions for the author. One of the questions was 'What was your worst job?'. He said that his worst job was a dishwasher at a casino. He worked there for a couple months and then quit after someone was shot in the parking lot.
I don't really know. I think I would be more concerned with liking my job unless I had kids. Then, I would probably be more concerned with making money. But even then, I wouldn't get a job that I aboslutly hate. That would be horrible!

The worst job I have seen or heard of is probably working at the bottle depot. My mom has never worked at the bottle depot but I would never want to work there it makes me gag a lot.

I think it's a great idea to think about what you want to do when you're grown up, but know that it may change. Your interests and passions may be very different when you're older than they are now. It's very normal for people to change their jobs several times throughout their lives.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in elementary school I wanted to be a veterinarian; that only lasted a year or so. By the time I was grown up I didn't have one particular job in mind, so I worked with kids in their homes and in schools. It took several years for me to decide to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, and I'm now going back to school to start a whole new career.
That's one reason why it's so important to work hard in school and do your best. The better you do in school, the more options you have as an adult. If I hadn't worked hard in high school and university I wouldn't have had high enough marks to be able to do my new school work.
I like jobs where I can help people. The money is nice, but not the main reason I work with kids.
When you said that you don't want to be in school until you are 36 yeah my mom went back to school at 35 'till she is 41 and she is going to be a book writer and publisher.I personally want to be a youtuber because playing games and uploading to see how it turned out and whether to keep doing the same type of videos or try something out thats different. If I had earned any money it would go to a charity for cancer.
