I started skiing when I was six years old. At first it was really difficult to learn but now it’s really easy. I have my own equipment which includes skis, poles, helmet and boots.
There are three types of runs: green, blue and black. Green is the easiest while black is the hardest. This year I started on the green runs just to get my legs back. Last year I went on the black diamond and it is very steep and dangerous if you’re not very good at skiing.
I went skiing in November and I had so much fun. I went to Sunshine Village in Banff with my father and my sister. When we got there I had to go on the gondola which is a moving cart that takes you up the mountain and and it took a long time to get up to the top of the mountain.
I went on lots of chair lifts and one in Sunshine had a cover and heated seats. One of the chair lifts went into the clouds but I did not get to go there. I did not get hurt when I was skiing but my sister fell a couple of times and I did crash into her once and she started crying and I got in trouble.
We also ate lunch there. I had hot chocolate and chicken nuggets it was really good. I go skiing quite often with my family.

I've never been skiing but I've been snowboarding. AND I CANNOT SNOWBOARD. Last year when I was in grade four I tried snowboard.. I couldn't even stand up on the snowboard so I know I'm never going snowboarding again.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to go to Snow Valley. This year I'm going skiing because snowboarding is a big no no for me. If you were to see me on a snowboard you'd get me skis. I waited all summer although I do miss the warm weather. I couldn't have the lunch so instead I had tacos in a bag. It was delicious. I also had an apple, orange, baby carrots and an Aero bar.

Every year my family goes on at least five trips.

I have a lot of skiing experience and because of that my mom and
dad give me a lot of freedom on the hill. Some of the cool things I'm allowed to do are jumps, tricks and black diamond runs.
I'm not looking forward to our Snow Valley trip because they use
fake snow. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's a secret!

When I go to skiing my first time it was so scary because they put me in a big mountain and I didn't know how to ski but now I know and I can't wait until next trip to Snow Valley. I have been skiing just once.

I count the days in my calendar until the trip to Snow Valley. We are going on a trip to Snow Valley this March but the big Ham just said to us that maybe next year we are not going to Snow Valley and that is sad. Sometimes I like the food more than the skiing.
My brother knows how to ski in the snow because he go to Snow Valley too.

I have never gone skiing because my family is too busy! I really wanted to but I'm too lazy, got homework, sick,and got two brothers who don't want to and they're too lazy! My brothers do this most of the time!

Even though I've never been skiing I would definitely would go to Snow Valley because it's free but not all the time. It's only open for free sometimes but this is the last time we should go but I own my own snowboard.

Never go on black diamond for your first try. That's the hardest but the green's the easiest one of all.
But if I go on skiing I think my dad will be proud of me and I would be excited for the skiing. I will have the most fun thing of the world and I will scream my brain off out of my space world.

I think this year it will be so much fun because I already know a little bit and hopefully I can go to the big hill and and not be scared. I really want to do snowboard because I did ski last year.

My skiing experience is fun. I just have some trouble of going down the hill sometimes. Last year my whole school went to the Snow Valley. But my teacher said that next year we might not go to the Snow Valley, because the money that they need to pay to the Snow Valley is the money to build a new playground.

The only place I have ever skied at is Snow Valley. It usually is really fun because my dad comes with me and drops me off. I am not that experienced at skiing... but I enjoy it so much!!!
